7 guests' feedbackWe had our reservations with our choice as pictures did not always do justice to the actual in the end. We are glad that we were pleasantly surprised. An enjoyable time was had, and we have become immediate advocates for the establishment.
First of all, we visit many places and many of the places' offices are not near the accommodation, but they met us at the accommodation and showed us everything. At Ocean Two 12 we had to go get the key, and if you don't take it back at check-out, you get fined. At all the other places you could leave the key somewhere and drive. We had to drive back into town and back again to get home on the right road. The agents did not explain to us where the accommodation was. There was a garage with number 12 on it, and an unfriendly caretaker threatened to clamp the wheels. He didn't bother to explain to us where we could park. Our vehicle stood in the sun. We had a sea view which was great but the gate to the sea was locked with a chain and lock. We had to walk backwards, we couldn't go through the gate. Later that day someone went through there, and then it was closed again. There is a beautiful lawn with braai facilities under a pa, where boys played. Our children could not play on the lawn because the gate to the lawn was also closed. I also know your cost to get an ocean view is more expensive, and going directly to the ocean just makes it so much faster if you're wet and want to get to the accommodation. Now we had to walk far with wet children who also get cold. No washing machine, no WiFi. There was a dirty carpet under one seat. The dishwasher has no pills, and fines are given for dirty dishes. It was hopelessly too many lines for me. I understand that there are people who waste a lot, but we were not given the carefreeness of vacationing at the place. If you make excessive noise, you will also be fined. Our children were excited for the holiday, but we were stressed thinking that maybe they were too noisy and talking loudly, maybe too loud, and now we have to get fines from the unfriendly caretaker who can't even say goodbye. I just made sure that the dishes were washed and the place at least looked tidy, but so unsure if the floor is clean enough, is there going to be a fine with something? Some of the spoons and stuff were already gone when we got there, and it got on my nerves because I didn't take pictures, afraid they'd say it was us and then it wasn't us. The day we got there, the room stank. It didn't smell fresh.
Lovely on the beach, less traffic stress, and close to family and friends.

Unit is well designed and works for big families.
The unit is very clean and tidy, but unfortunately it was during a very cold weekend, and we got really cold. However, the unit contains everything needed for short-term stays and is very well located on the beachfront with nice sea views.
Nice view, close to the beach, nice place to stay. However, parking is a big headache.
