The main beach and penguin colony is just 1.6 to 1.8 km away(25 min walk). There are many hiking trails close by in the Harold Porter Botanical Garden and at Rod's Trail.

The apartment can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The first bedroom contains a king-size bed and a shower en suite with a toilet and washbasin. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed and the third bedroom contains 2 single beds. These 2 rooms share a bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet and a washbasin.

The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a fridge, stove and microwave. There is no oven. The dining area contains a 6-seater dining table and chairs. The lounge offers comfortable seating. Outside, there is a stoep with a portable braai for guests to use.
