1 guests' feedbackWe really loved the house ️ and our host Dalene was so accommodating and welcoming. The home is truly beautiful with breathtaking ocean views, the space was amazing for our family to visit and so comfortable and cosy with a fireplace, lots of wood and heated floors on the 2nd floor. The kitchen was very well equipped and we loved this because we really enjoyed cooking and staying in during the evenings with our family. It would be helpful if they fix the heating on the first floor for winter months as it's very cold on the 1st floor and you will need to keep the fireplace going when downstairs. They should get wood that burns slower from an environmental point of view as the wood burned very quickly but never the less we were very thankful to have wood for the fireplace to keep us warm. The only issue during our stay was that the sliding door (main point of entry from the mountain) had a lock that just fell off when we were there and the handyman also noted that this door really needs to be more secure with a much more heavy-duty lock in place as it would be very easy to open this door ─ regardless of the excellent security system in place, you want assurance that no one will be able to gain easy access to the property while your family are sleeping at night. We needed to mention this as we didn't feel that they sorted this out and it would be very easy to secure a sliding door for improving guest's safety and peace of mind.
