Everything about Bahia was excellent, however, with the stairs being as steep as they are, this would be worth mentioning as they would definitely be a problem for the elderly, or someone with leg or knee issues. The only other issue is the reference to Off Street Parking. That is misleading, as it implies that there is a certain level of security, whereas you park on the pavement, with no security at all. Not an issue, but definitely misleading! You may also want to indicate why no children under 7 are allowed, as this is extremely unusual at destinations of this nature.

On the Rocks is comfortable accommodation, but lacks a few things in the place, and an umbrella on the stoep, sun is still sharp, and then can't use the stoep to the full.

We were a large group and booked both units. It was spacious and contained all the amenities. The location is good and close to everything. It was delicious! The veranda upstairs has a beautiful view of an iconic African sunset. I can definitely recommend the place!

We had a lovely time here. We had all that we needed, and magnificent views of the bay. Was lovely and quiet too, but close to restaurants and shops.

Neighbours not accommodating towards guests. Request for silence before down time. Not pleasant to be told to go inside because of them wanting to sleep at 21:00.

The house was clean and tidy with modern furniture and good quality linen. The linen is changed halfway through. The location is good right next to the waterfront. Safety is good in a cul de sac. Although we had a nice stay for the week we felt the house was very expensive, for 5 people, for what we got. There is no garage and although it is mentioned in the description, the photo of the garage may be misleading. We had to push our bikes through the house to the open porch. The second room is down steep stairs and the room and bathroom are quite dark and stuffy with only a small window each. There is a dishwasher but seeing that there are only six cups, cutlery, glasses etc. is, you still have to wash by hand regularly. There is a washing machine but no shelf to hang. Other items we needed e.g. braai stand (must put grill on bricks), hot mats, hot barrel cloths, tablecloth. Outside furniture is very weathered.

Nice sea view. Just very disappointed in how we were treated. The neighbors constantly asked us to turn down our music and speak softly while we were playing games. We were there to enjoy ourselves. Would advise that the owner says in her advertisement that it is therefore not suitable for young people.

I will recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

On the rocks is a lovely self catering unit. Guests should know that there is a seafood factory not far from the unit so there is a very slight hum 24 hours due to water pumps. Privacy on the deck is not great as the neighbors are very close - perhaps a simple screen would help, if the owners are willing to spend a small amount of money. There are no meat knives or cutting boards in the unit either. If you take this into consideration, it is a lovely place.

"Good and comfortable except for some improvement to relax outside."

The unit was fully equipped. The stoep leading from the lounge was not a nice area to relax outside as the big bush/plant that’s on the stoep has a scary feeling as a person have no idea what could crawl out. The TV was blocked on Sunday and we could not watch while having breakfast, and we did not feel comfortable sitting outside on the stoep either. The neighbours should keep their gate closed as I did not know it is private property when I stood there to take a photo, as she questioned me.

We were 3 adults who booked the lower (smaller) unit for a weekend. It was very comfortable, clean and modernly furnished. The kitchen has everything I needed to prepare meals. We slept well and the hot shower did not disappoint either. Although we didn't have direct access to the beach, the walkway was really close and very walkable. The trellis provides security and we could listen to the sea with the patio doors open until after dark. If the small unit looks this good, I can't wait for the whole house to book for a family visit. We will definitely visit again, and I recommend it with a clear heart.

The fireplace was lovely in the cold. Nice sleeping facilities. Could cook well. I would love a teapot, milk and sugar jars. Safe and quiet environment. Thank you for a wonderful 5 days at the sea.

Good accommodation, the owner was very accommodating. Struggled a bit to get and give keys off. The accommodation was very neat and clean, we did not need anything. Unfortunately the town of Paternoster itself is not well looked after at all.

The electrical appliances shocked us, electrician could not find fault.

With great assistance we eventually got hold of the lady to open up which is not what you need after travelling. It was 5pm. Very unfriendly welcome blaming us for the event. Nice view from balcony, needed some warning about the steep stairs to downstairs bedroom.

On The Rocks is a very nice house close to the sea, fantastic location, clean and tidy. Very nice for groups/large families and the owner is very friendly. It's just a shame the neighbor's alarm went off all weekend from people walking down the path to the sea which totally spoiled the atmosphere and made it very unpleasant. Verna was unfortunately not helpful and asked us to call around. Not acceptable to do this to your customer, you do what is necessary for the customer. If it wasn't for that, I would easily book the house again and highly recommend it. Just a suggestion: more than one key when there are groups of people can help a lot if everyone doesn't want to come and go at the same time.

The stay was very nice and the place is incredibly clean and tidy, but the advertisement is a bit misleading as the outdoor braai facilities are very small and cramped, the view is very nice.

Clean and neat unit. The downstairs unit was not equipped with all the necessities. No braai dish. We put our braai meat in a salad bowl. Luckily we had tinfoil in which we could keep the meat warm. No cutting board! I had to prepare salad on a plate. No salad servers. Total lack of privacy. The neighbours could watch what we were doing and vice versa as the downstairs unit borders the neighbours' property. The downstairs unit also doesn't have the full ocean view we hoped for, just a partial sea view. Also no DStv which would have been a plus. NOT value for money.
