19 guests' feedbackThey forgot to put the geyser on twice in our 4 day stay. For us it was fine. A mirror in the room would be great. Dark towels don't do it for me. Jacqueline was extremely friendly. Okay! It was convenient.
Parking is very tight, one person's car is already bumped.
Didn't get the unit shown on the web at all. The beds' mattresses were not comfortable, a bit very old. Couldn't make good coffee had to put the kettle on the ground to get to the power plug. Too few curtains, one could look directly at my daughter while she was sleeping from outside. Don't mind a small place, but if you've been on the road for 6 hours you'll just want to sleep comfortably and have privacy.
It met our requirements.
If you want to find your humanity, be yourself, no nonsense and no pretending, then you should visit Jacqui's guest house. Here you can relax. They become family, not just friends. These people have sympathy and are willing to let you grow as a person. Everything comes from the heart.

We had a wonderful stay! It is indeed a "home away from home". The owner provided excellent service from her hospital bed. We will be back again soon!
Hostess was very friendly. Made us feel very welcome. Friendly reception. Feeling very at home and comfortable and safe when we stayed there. Will stay there again any time if we are looking for accommodation in that area.

My teenage daughter and I stayed there for a week during our move. The landlady went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The accommodation is not luxurious but good value for money. No cause for complaint.

Even though the lady went out of her way to help me, I was a bit disappointed with the service. It is a good place for low budget accommodation and if you just need a bed to sleep. The area is great for shopping and business and is very central not far from Menlyn Mall.

Warm welcome, felt like seeing old friends again. Definitely a place to stay, host made you feel comfortable, loved and important. Location well situated close to all the big malls.
It was the best decision to stay at Oornag @ Jacqueline Drive during my revision of grade 12 papers. Fantastic facilities, clean, everything I needed was there. Peace of mind. Hospitable! Friendly! Everything that was advertised. If I am employed again next year and she has "my room" available I'll definitely book in again!
First impressions can be improved and the bathrooms as well as floor tiles need attention. The place is safe. service excellent and reception highly professional. Centrally located and close to big shops.
We struggled to find the place due to lack of signs but Jackie welcomed us so nicely that it was all forgotten in few seconds. The communal kitchen has everything you may need and the place is nicely decorated. Towels are not provided but when I asked the owner she went out of her way to accommodate us with clean fresh towels. We will come back for sure.

Unfortunately I will not be able to recommend this guesthouse to other guests, due to the unprofessional conduct and disturbing occurrences at Oornag. On arrival the hostess welcomed me very cheerfully, with a glass of wine in her hand, she noted that coffee and rusks will be send to my room, but even after I reminded her that it still has not arrived it never showed up, she offered me a glass of wine instead, which at that stage I thought was very unprofessional, although the room was always nice and clean, it was very noisy and the sounds of people arguing and swearing at each other continued until 22:30 that night. After eventually falling asleep I had a rude awakening when the arguing just continued the next morning. I packed my bags and left the guest house as soon as possible, I even left without getting a refund for the remainder night already paid. This is really not the kind of treatment you would expect at any guest house and I will definitely never recommend anyone to stay at this guest house ever!
