The owner, Megan, is helpful and friendly. The house is large, comfortable, neat and very clean. There is literally everything in terms of equipment. The farm manager, Wiid, is a star from our reception and he stopped by twice a day to hear if we needed anything or if there was anything he could help with. Every getaway spot should have a Wiid. He was even there to help me and my wife with our luggage upon departure. There was a small problem with water and François sorted it out immediately. The moose, zebras and other wildlife are quite tame and we didn't even need to get in our car to go looking for them. We will definitely visit again and can recommend Oryx Lodge.

We had a lovely stay! Home away from home. Very comfortable with all the needed luxuries, DStv, aircon, dishwasher and even a generator for load shedding times. Loved the quiet bush, braai and pool the most!
We have already broken away from our busy daily routines and noise. The silence and nature once again brought our souls to rest.

What a great experience. We stayed in pure luxury. It was clean, the service was friendly. It was my daughter's birthday and an unexpected surprise was delivered, yummy cupcakes. Megan and team, well done!
Had a great time at the lodge and rested comfortably under the stars every night. The kitchen is well equipped, braai area licks enjoyed every evening by the fire and enjoyed Sunday lunch under the trees while the zebras, impalas, moose and the cute donkey came to peek at us. Thank you very much for the nice visit in the bushveld, we enjoyed it very much.
There are rats in the roof I let the owner know about it. We were not sure if one could walk on the farm or was only limited to the camp within which the house is located. No further information was provided.
The accommodation had been freshly painted and was therefore very clean. It is very peaceful. Sometimes children can be heard frolicking at Bosveld Oases.
The photos create a false impression of how beautiful the place really is.
You sit in the bath and see the animals walking past on the other side of the wire. We had a nice time around the bonfire in the evening and could also watch the rugby with DStv which was also available in the house. We will come back to Oryx Lodge to sleep well.

What a beautiful, spacious and comfortable Bosveld house. We were able to relax wonderfully by the pool, enjoy meals and long walks on the stoep. During the power outage, a generator was made available. At the boma we had a cozy time together. We saw zebras, goats and a donkey in the field. Many thanks again, Megan and Francois for your excellent and friendly service. We will visit Oryx Lodge again soon.
The house is nicely furnished. Nice peaceful woodland environment with zebras and goats that move around the house's perimeter. Having a good time around the fire at the boma. Very secure with electric fencing. The children especially enjoyed it.
We really liked the location in the woods and the nice big porch and the braai room for the windy and rainy days. The lodge is also nicely equipped. I made some suggestions to the owners, to make it even better.
The house is very well furnished. The visits around the pool and boma make it extra fun. We looked forward to seeing the wildlife grazing near the house every day.

Our family of 6 really enjoyed the break away for three nights. Safe environment. Good cell phone signal (if needed). Friendly reception. Very helpful parents who also live there should you need anything. Very neat and clean. The unit is comfortable and very spacious. Comfortable beds and pillows. It is quiet, peaceful, refreshing and close to nature. One can spend quality time together. Pretty beautiful view in the morning when zebras come to say hello. Old world charm. The TV was a plus point for children in the evening, when we visit the boma. We explored the place by walking every day with the freedom to explore the wildlife on our own time. The bird life was like music to ears! We were also lucky to meet Megan (the owner) who came to visit her parents. Will definitely come back again. Good value for money. Best regards and may your visiting nest go from strength to strength and give us the opportunity to visit for many more years.

Very neat with everything that you need for a nice stay.
Our weekend at Oryx Lodge exceeded all our expectations! A very tasteful house that is well furnished (even a dishwasher!) - you can literally just take your food and clothes with you! The yard is large and has more than enough space for children to play (bicycles are a must to take with you). The swimming pool provides extra entertainment, for young and old, and the electrified fence provides security peace of mind. There really is nothing to do but relax, because Oryx Lodge's owners have thought of everything! Our next weekend is already booked at the gem, so glad we discovered it!
We had a great stay, the place is very neat!
A recommendation would be that there please in the second bathroom provision is made for a soap dish in the shower. Our host was exceptionally friendly upon arrival and immediately made us feel at ease. The nature, although very dry, together with the wildlife, was wonderful.
We really enjoyed the 4 nights at Oryx. We will come again for sure!

Wonderful experience, will always visit Oryx Lodge again. Already planning our next visit. The next improvement points are listed only as small points for improvement: No steak knives were available, trash bin in the kitchen was not empty. For us, the dog was not an issue, but it might be a problem for other guests, especially with smaller children. Some of the knives in the drawer were dirty. Bunk beds' mattresses not intended for adults and should be made clear on the advertisement.
