It's very peaceful, where you can wake up to the sounds of waves breaking and birdsong, and is a paradise for hikers and bird lovers. A safe swimming and wind-protected beach is nearby, with great body-board surfing waves.

It is a beautiful setting with a big wind-protected deck for BBQ and visiting. Just a short stroll to a beautiful beach and a bonus, the green belt with a garden off the porch which invites an abundance of bird life. Absolutely a perfect relaxing setting and well equipped with a very friendly and professional host to top it all off!

Went for a weekend holiday in Langebaan. Will definitely go again. Have a nice rest with a nice view and a sun bag. Location is perfect and very peaceful right next to everything Mykonos has to offer. Braai area inside makes it very convenient. Very happy. Will definitely come again.

The photos were very accurate but possibly didn't even do justice to the space available. The apartment was superb with lots of attention to detail- lovely photos, mirrors, blankets for cooler evenings etc. The bedrooms were huge with masses of cupboard/wardrobe space and very comfortable beds. The living/dining/kitchen area is also huge and all open plan with 2 large very comfortable sofas. The outdoor terrace/braai area is also lovely and all undercover. The beach is a few minutes' walk away and you can hear the sea from the terrace. The area is very safe and secure and so peaceful. Good wifi and dstv which also works in loadshedding. All in all we loved this apartment- 2 nights wasn't enough and could have happily spent a week or more in this homely place. Paul was an excellent host - sent through messages/directions beforehand, was there to meet us and show us around and advised that we could have a later check-out. Excellent all around. Thank you Paul for your hospitality.

Our stay was very nice. The peacefulness and safe area allowed you to sit on the patio and relax. Even though there were so many other people, we didn't even see or hear them. The living area had everything, there was no shortage. The friendliness with which we were received speaks volumes regarding the warmth and hospitality of Langebaan residents. I will go there for a holiday again and again. We had such a good time that we have already made plans to make a turn there again come summer.
The weekend was exactly what I wanted. Silence. With a view and nature. The lovely walks and fireplace inside and outside, board games, good food and walks. Again, the silence. All you hear is waves and birds. I would without a doubt want to go again! My children gave the birds enough food for a week. Great weekend! Thank you thank you! x
The place is so beautiful, neat, spacious. Beautiful, tasteful decor. The house is comfortable, and much bigger than we expected. Attention to detail - even toys and a sandpit on the porch for the kids. The little garden is beautiful, and it's close enough to the beach to just walk. I wished we could have stayed longer!

Very friendly reception. Paul immediately made us feel at home. I am an old West Coaster and he acted with the attitude of a West Coaster (people-people). The place was clean and comfortable! We will definitely stay there again!
We found the accommodation beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the forest with goats and mongooses as well as the beautiful sea view. Paul and Jolene are hospitable and their information welcome letter was a good idea. I can recommend the unit.
We were however disappointed with a few things. There was no coffee for breakfast. Only one toilet roll for 2 people for 2 days. The owner complaint that we didn't wash the dishes and that the braai was in a state! If you run a guest house you have cleaners who clean for the guests, otherwise we could just as well have stayed at home! I soaked the dishes nicely and cleaned the kitchen surface. There was nothing wrong with the braai other than ashes. I wrote a rather frank letter back to the owner. We wont come back to her place, but to a similar one. We found her attitude simply arrogant. We are both professionals and very neat people. We even made up the bed, hopefully she changed the linens for the next guests!

The accommodation and location are excellent. A quiet atmosphere and the apartment is well equipped with everything you could need. Admin around our arrival and receiving and handing over keys was a 2 hour nightmare, but the rest of the weekend made up for it.

The unit itself is clean and tidy, close to the beach with a nice veranda. Uncomfortable bed with mushy, flat pillows and room is downstairs and very cold. No one told me that houses are being built around the unit and it's noisy. I checked out after one night after paying for 4 nights.
We had had a fantastic stay at Perle of Paradise. On arrival we were met and welcomed by Jolene, a gracious and friendly hostess. Our hosts, who live on the property, gave us a warm welcome and an introductory tour of this delightful apartment. The lounge/dining area is very comfortably furnished and has sliding glass doors opening onto a large wrap around terrace and braai area. The apartment is set up high enough to have great views of the bay and adjacent nature reserve. The two en-suite bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed and the kitchen has everything you'll need. The beach is just a short walk through the nature reserve and shops just a short drive away. This is a wonderful location if you want peace and quiet!

9 Elara is a beautiful place that is properly equipped and tastefully furnished. With a lovely porch / patio to enjoy nature. Would very much like to visit there again one day, just stay longer!

The natural beauty is at your front door at Perle of Paradise, we saw a multitude of birds and small animals just from the porch. The stoep is a lovely place to visit with a large braai and table with chairs where we enjoyed all our meals. The apartment is fully equipped with even a washing machine and dishwasher. There is so much space in the apartment, it didn't feel cramped at all with 4 people, and it was so convenient that both bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms. I would recommend Perle of Paradise to anyone, young or old, there is something for everyone.
