My stay was actually more enjoyable than I expected. The manager also graciously upgraded me at no extra cost. Only hitch was the erratic DStv signal. This could be attributed to load shedding or bad weather (it was the weekend of the floods and I unfortunately had to cut my stay short). The apartment was 100% 'fit for purpose'. Will stay there again.
Will stay with Paul Kruger again. It was a nice wet weekend but we enjoyed it.
The caretaker on duty was excellent and very friendly, but our accommodation was not worth the money. It's very small with no work surface and the wardrobe is very small whose door kept falling off the rails. This is now the little place in which we were at home, otherwise the atmosphere was lovely.

The room I stayed in was very cute. I just didn't have an iron but got one from the other room we booked. It's very safe at Paul Kruger 63. I would like to stay there again.

This was a last-minute booking on the way back from Cape Town to Gauteng. We decided to visit some of the Robertson Wine Farms. Our host was very helpful in providing us with a map and showing us which wine farms we would be able to fit in in our short time here. Although the place was comfortable, it needs a bit of TLC. A coat of paint will do wonders.
My fiance and I enjoyed the stay so much. We stayed in a private area which we loved. No noise complaint from us. We would definitely book again and this time with our 2 boys.

Friendliness, communication and local advice was excellent. Safe, compact but comfortable enough self-catering for a few nights. Great dark curtains for a late sleep, in the early summer mornings! Aircon, Wi-Fi and DStv sport a bonus for the price!
The room was neat and clean. It was also very safe with the security gate that is in front of the door. The location is perfect as it is very close to the town centre. It was a really nice experience.
Bigger size TV is recommended. Bathroom is nice and newly renovated, but requires surface to place toiletries and hooks to hang face cloths, especially because this unit accommodates a family. Plugs in bedroom should be moved high up to allow easier access to charge cellphones.
We stayed in Majuba which, if I could share photos that I took of mildew in the corners, stank of smoke. I know they cannot help it if patrons smoke, but they can spray something. There were dirty dishes and a dirty pan. The towels were very hard. Electricity ran out, we thought it was load shedding but at 00:30 I phoned and Marlin came out to put in more electricity, telling us a patron left the stove and aircon on for a week and it used a lot of electricity. That tells me that they knew there were not enough, but they still put us through the trouble to phone. The Wi-Fi was constantly off and Telkom was blamed.
The accommodation was really not clean. Floors were dirty and we had to wash some of the cutlery before we could use it. Furthermore, the residents next door were making noise and fighting until 4 am. I don't think there was good control.
On arrival we noticed that the unit was not fully equipped as advertised. Had to call several times to get the appliances that weren't there. The unit was dirty upon arrival. At least the shower worked this time. Pipe from sink to outside drain was leaking. Workers entered unit when we were not there. Definitely exorbitant prices for the service and unit.
My wife and I had a very pleasant stay at Paul Kruger 63. The Olive room was nice was clean and just perfect for us. It was 37 degrees in Robertson on Saturday but the air-con and the pool kept us cool in that weather. Marlon as well was very helpful to us. We will definitely use the place again the next time I visit Robertson.

We had a lovely stay. This is definite value for money. The manager was very friendly. The place was very tidy and clean, although I would like to suggest that the ceiling needs a paint and that the sheets should not have marks on them.

It was exactly what we needed, safe, private and affordable. It's a pity that there is only one basin outside and not one inside the room, other than the bathroom. Please consider adding an iron with an ironing board to your inventory or added as an optional extra on the booking form. Lastly, a little bin for the bathroom.

I booked for me and my Toypom and was promised a unit with grass (the back one as the lady said - no. 63), but this was not the case. Keys were handed over with a lame excuse that the owner would only accommodate me with the dog, because animals are not actually allowed in the unit, but it was not the booked unit. Rules of Paul Kruger 63 expressly state that only units 59,61 and 63 may have animals, but I was put in a unit with a kind of "courtyard" of cement. I would not recommend Paul Kruger. I felt unwelcome and in the way. It is dark and 'gloomy'. The unit should rather be used as a storage room. Sorry about that, but the service leaves a lot to be desired as well.

A few friends and I came to stay here for one night to attend a wedding at Bon Cap. Mike was very friendly and filled every request we made. The room I stayed in was very comfortable and had the best beds! Almost everything was there, we just needed some cloths. There is DStv, a very nice bathroom and a place to braai - and it's quite close to everything. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Although we were in Robertson for a wedding, our first time staying here was amazing. The rooms are stylish, with enough storage space and hanging space for clothes and enough mirrors to make it a wonderful resting place for women. Child friendly/safety is a big bonus. Will definitely recommend it.

Decent for the price. Our room door wouldn't lock at all, I spoke to the owner about it, he went to test it without me and called me and said I just didn't turn it right. When we came back later that evening, and wanted to lock the door for the night, there was no way that lock could work, it didn't line up with the hole in the frame.

The Yale locks for the rooms were problematic, which can cause you to lock yourself out but in the bigger picture it was a very minor problem. We were pessimistic at first about the outside from the street, but we were very much surprised. It is neat and well equipped. Everything you need is there. The owner can just add coffee, tea, sugar and milk to the unit. If you arrive late, there isn't anywhere to buy these.

It was fun, but I think better care could be taken of the house. It was a bit dirty, yet a nice place just for a night.
Although the wind blew everything around, it was disappointing to walk into a room full of leaves and dust after traveling so far and then have to clean it up ourselves. The TV didn't work and we had to search for an electric plug that worked so we could make coffee.
A big dark place on the road. Kitchen is not well-equipped and there was no braai tong. Even tough the braai was clean, the grid was dirty and I had to clean it in the fire. The place needs a lot of attention before it provides value for money in comparison to other places for the same price and same time.
Horrible. We got the street unit. It's very old-fashioned with old carpets and furniture, a musty smell, and the porch on the street side smelled of urine. Only the bathroom was acceptable, and the dishes were new. Would not recommend it at all. Even an old sock under the bed! Was a last minute booking so they gave us the last available unit. Paul Kruger should rather not rent out the unit!

I and all the wedding guests of my granddaughter stayed there. Everything was tidy from the residential units to the gardens. There is an urgent need for parking spaces, but I know they are working on it. Mike and his colleague went out of their way to welcome you and were very helpful. I definitely recommend them. The wall with the entrance has beautiful scenes painted on it and makes you feel calm and at home. Congratulations on your cute place to stay with reasonable rates. (I would love to eat some of those delicious tomatoes that grow so lush and full in front of the apartments!)
Villa Kramer by Paul Kruger is the ideal accommodation for 3 couples who want to explore Robertson for a weekend. It is centrally located and has a delicious bakery just around the corner. Paul Kruger pleasantly surprised me with their cleanliness, beauty and friendly customer service. Villa Kramer is still new, so there may be something missing here and there in the kitchen, but all the basic facilities are there. We will definitely go back again and recommend this as accommodation. Definitely value for money!
Even though it was only for business, we still enjoyed it - peaceful atmosphere, comfortable old world house and within walking distance of the necessary business center.

For the price the room size and outfit was okay. The double bed for 2 is not something for people that are used to bigger. What was worrying is that we had a lot of bug-bites on our legs after the first and second night and they keep on itching, so some new mattrasses or proper cleaning should be the focus. Also the shower head is spraying in all directions above the head so that no matter if you want to wash hair or not you get it wet for sure.

Villa Kramer is also a Victorian house that has been redone. The front two rooms are mirror images of each other and have a shower and toilet en-suite, Each room has a DVD player ,bar fridge, microwave, kettle and crockery and cutlery. The third room has a corner bath with overhead shower. It also has a small patio area accessible from the room. Kramer Flat is a complete one bedroomed apartment with a full bathroom and is very quiet.
