Very good time, pleasant interesting and adventurous camp.
Alewyn was extremely considerate. He contacted me a few hours prior to arrival, confirming my route and providing a location pin. This is the type of consideration all businesses can learn from.

Tranquility, just what is needed, away from the city's hustle and bustle.
Pear Tree is well situated in the middle of the town but it is still very quiet and peaceful. The facilities are simple, but sufficient for camping and well maintained. We had a wonderful overnight stop and will return when in the area again.
The village is very small and there is not much going on. Interesting are the culverts and the telephone poles that run in the middle of the street.
Owner immediately came to make acquaintance. Brought small logs to start our fire. Had our own shower and toilet. Very neat.
Very friendly and excellent service from Alewyn. Was there regularly to hear if we were satisfied and if everything was ok.

Had fun at Loxton. We were 6 people camping. Place is well equipped with necessary things that a camper or traveler needs.

It was raining, it would have been better if the covered area was bigger.
Loxton is one of the most beautiful Karoo towns. The kindness of Alewyn and all the other townspeople we dealt with was really special. We will definitely be camping at Pear Tree again!
The Red Garnet is a must if you visit Loxton. The sunset is something special.
