Magnificent and beautiful.
It was nice and peaceful to be able to get away for a bit. Every day at the sea.
My personal view, this place is perfect for a family, especially adults with young children. My teenagers did find it a touch boring at times, and their opinion is that it would be a better experience for them if there was a pool. Overall, this is an excellent place for a family as it is safe and the living space is neat and spacious. The caretaker is a gem and always helpful and friendly. If you need something, just ask her. Looking forward to seeing you again!
Our stay was blissful. Family, sun, sea and sand .
Mattresses do not sleep well. Two broken windows. TV didn't work - although we weren't there to watch TV. Also clean and tidy. No stories.
Was great. The only problem was we didn't have warm water for the whole three days and weren't informed of workers working over the weekend.
We had no hot water, even though we were promised hot water.

It was big enough for 8 people so as to not get into anyone's way. Beach was close enough and my grandson of 9 caught his 1st (small) fish which will forever stay a happy memory for him. There are also a few shops within walking distance which were very convenient.

Too far from the beach, no privacy. A few missing kitchen essentials, not the end of the world. Communication from agents was true. They made decision on behalf of the establishment.

Will visit again for a getaway. Dina was a star upon our arrival.
My dog and I had a really nice stay and a wonderful weekend. The place was neat and the people friendly. My only suggestion is that the small apartment I stayed in get a window in the bathroom. It might also be an idea to let guests know to bring towels (at least I have!). But I had a nice stay and will visit again.

The unit we stayed in was very comfortable but could do with a little renovation. Few things that need attention like shower taps, fridge door, kitchen cabinets. We also had to wash all the dishes before we could use them. Some of the knives and forks were dirty in the drawers and the glasses were not all clean either.
Only negatives are: Never shared with reservation of adjoining unit, which is separated by door for larger groups, and that neighbors are very noisy until who knows what time in the mornings. Sleep was scant.
What a gem! Despite the unexpected power outage and other resulting challenges, we really enjoyed our stay at Pearly Beach. Dina is a caretaker 1000! We were looking for a holiday away from the masses and that's exactly what we got. Thank you very much!

The accommodation was bigger than we expected and very clean and tidy. The price is really reasonable, even in season time. The village is very peaceful and the people are really friendly. The beach is of course a blue flag beach and the water absolutely delicious. I will definitely go back again.

Solar geyser just doesn't heat as well when it's cloudy. The indoor braai works very well in inclement weather. Will definitely stay there again.
The picture of the place I saw and where we ended up in a warehouse converted into an apartment, so to speak, was not the place I booked. The place overlooks an ash heap. At the front door they use a towel that you have to throw over the door so no one can see in. The fridge is set on a high wall so you have to stand on a chair to get things out of the fridge and freezer. There is no mirror that a woman can use. The only one is in the bathroom which is so high you can't see yourself in it. I was disappointed in the place.
We only slept there and spent most of the time at Strandkloof with my in-laws. But I was not happy with the layout of the accommodation and it was not very clean.
The unit was very neat and comfortable. The reception was very friendly and made us feel very much at home. I recommend it to anyone.

We were immediately warmly welcomed. The unit was clean and tidy. Take your DStv decoder with you. Toilet has a small bowl, you have to flush a few times. No place for your toiletries. Also take bed linen with you if you are used to softer linen. Also very happy.
