Had a great night's rest, safe and quiet area. Place was clean and tidy. Charles and Sue very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! My son was playing hockey and Charles offered to come shower after the hockey was over and gave us delicious yogurt and fruit for beside the court. Will definitely stay there again.

Very clean and safe accommodation. We were kindly received after a long day on the road. Only annoyance was the power outages, but that was definitely not the owner's fault. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, prepared by the owner, before we left the next morning. Outstanding service. Thank you very much.
Very nice stay. It is well located in a nice street. Everything is well planned and explained. Very cold area, but the guesthouse caters for everything. Enough blankets and heaters. Even the glass of sherry was very welcome.

Apart form all of the normal things being clean, neat and friendly in place, is Penny Lane in a quiet little street, away from the main road with all of its noisy trucks and cars. It is a big plus point. Thank you to the hostess and the host that made everything so pleasant and comfortable.

Very friendly reception by owner. Neat room with TV and fridge (no safe). WiFi you get 100mb free the rest you have to buy. Through 100mb you're gone! There is nothing to do in the town itself and it is not safe. You can eat well in the town. You can park your car inside under the carport. The breakfast is delicious. We had a choice of English (eggs and bacon) or continental breakfast (egg, ham, cheese). Great for one between stops to Kruger.
It was our first overnight stay in South Africa that exceeded all expectations.

Very helpful, friendly and hospitable host and hostess. We had problems with our car and they helped until we got through with help.
Pennylane Guest House is a nice place to stay.
A comfortable clean room, along with friendly proprietors and the next morning we enjoyed a delicious, full English breakfast.
Apart from towels not being changed regularly, the service was outstanding.

We stay in many guest houses and Pennylane was by far the best one we have stayed at. Their service and the rooms were excellent. What surprised me the most was the toiletries for personal use. It was some of the best and not the little old ordinary jars and bags of normal guesthouses.
Comfortable, clean, attractive and neat. Attentive and friendly owners. Pity it was only a one night stay, I would have liked to spend a couple of days here!
