"Comfortable and relaxing."

Beautiful apartment. Close to the beach with direct access to the beach lane pathway.

Nice spacious house that has just been neglected. The garden is very neglected, as well as the stoeps, but amazingly kept. They changed the bed linen and towels half way through our holiday which is excellent.

We had to pay a surcharge for our dog, yet the smaller patio was not cleaned of the previous dogs' mess.

The apartment is fully equipped with everything and more. Also, als is equipped to comfortably accommodate a pet. The neighborhood is quiet and you feel safe. To top it off, there are only 2 houses between you and one of the most beautiful beaches on the West Coast!

Good value for money with a nice bedroom (extremely comfortable bed!) and lovely bathroom. The courtyard is small and pretty basic, but it's fully enclosed and kept our dog perfectly safe. The courtyard shares a wooden pole fence with Phoenix 1, so if your neighbours also have dogs they can see each other through the fence. The beach is 2 mins walk away and it's the quiet end of the beach away from the restaurants, so excellent for walking your dog without anyone else around. The floor could have been a bit cleaner, it was very sandy when we arrived, but overall it was a great stay.

We go to Phoenix 2 regularly and love it. The accommodation is very well equipped, contains everything you (and dog children) need and is nicely hidden from the road. Walking distance from the beach and very centrally located! Would definitely recommend Phoenix 2.

We had a great time, everything, from the beach to coffee, is really within walking distance. Garden is very small but the fact that it is pet friendly was a big bonus for us, won't regret it if you book Phoenix 2, does only sleep 2 people but that's what we were looking for.

Safety in town is a concern.

The place is too "closed". You feel caged in when you are inside, because you have no view to the outside. The front door does not have a security gate, so you must keep it locked at all times. Even if you sit outside, the fence is so high that you can't see anything. We were very disappointed in our stay. Would not recommend to anyone.

TV set had a buzz and I think the airconditioners need servicing. Kitchen facilities are excellent.

We enjoyed the unit, it was spacious for 2 people and our 2 dogs, and the enclosed garden was great for them. The only drawback was that their wasn't a nice flow to the outdoor entertainment area by the braai, and we didn't feel that we had an outdoor space which we missed. The staff at Paternoster Rentals were super friendly.

We're raving about Phoenix 2! Stylish, clean accommodation close to everything in Paternoster. Even our Yorkie kids love the stay.

Wonderful little cottage. Very modern with everything you need. 1 min walk from the beach. What a gem! Very clean cottage - 100 points for that! Dog-friendly too and completely enclosed. Our dogs were safe and could not run off or jump the walls. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!

We have been visiting Paternoster for over ten years, but recently started looking for animal friendly accommodation and therefore came across Phoenix 2. The place is well furnished, clean and tidy. There is even a gate at the back that leads onto a footpath, which leads directly to the sea, as well as an outdoor shower for humans and animals. We were able to rinse off our woof after the swim. Unfortunately, there is one aspect of the accommodation that really bothered us. Friends came to visit us one day and even they only had negative comments about the following: there is an electric chair that goes up the stairs, but the stairs lead to nowhere as the units are partitioned off. There is i.e. no top floor at phoenix 2 but this chair you keep staring at and looks quite ghostly in the evening. The rest of the unit is so beautiful, we really wish the owners would remove it instead, because it serves no purpose. Everything else was perfect, thank you very much for a nice weekend!

"Absolutely heavenly."

In all honesty I have stayed in Paternoster repeatedly over the last 4 years but never have I been in such a well equipped unit. Dishwasher, double door fridge as well as water and ice provided by the fridge as well as a filtering system that keeps the water clean through the taps so it was drinkable. The bathroom was fantastic, a large bath, luxurious with a large shower, a pleasure to be away from your own comforts and top class service. Everything was top notch and the only thing that didn't work was the braai area's light above the outdoor table. We also only barbecued early so it wasn't a big problem with lighting. I will definitely do my booking again for Phoenix 2.

My partner and I had a lovely stay in Paternoster at Phoenix 2. We will definitely be booking there again the next time we are there for a getaway.

I was very impressed with all the convenience and comfort associated with all the space. All the equipment is very modern with ample crockery and utensils to make your stay comfortable. Very nice braai area. Plenty and beautiful pure white towels. Very organized! Definitely recommendable!

This is truly a gem of a place! Especially for people with pets. Perfectly located, well equipped and well arranged so that the four-legged children are safe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to everyone!

Amazing location, close to beach, fully equipped, with all necessities. Spacious, and clean. Enjoyed the stay incredibly! You see us again! There is some maintenance, paint work, new locks for the gate, etc. needed.

Lovely accommodation, clean and very good setup. It's a fantastic place for a summer getaway. Winter time is just a bit too chilly. Loved that it was pet friendly, our Weimaraner made lots of friends and loved the walks along the beaches.

The apartment is beautiful and well-equipped. It's wonderful that we could bring our dog, but it was a bit difficult because Phoenix 2's residents had to walk through No. 1's garden. We were a bit nervous because there was also a big dog next door, and the fences were not very high. But our neighbours were very considerate and there were no problems with the two big dogs.
