5 guests' feedbackThis is the ideal bush camp with only the most necessary facilities. Campsite was large enough to accommodate our caravans and vehicles. We were close to the waterhole and could watch the animals in the mornings and evenings.
Very nice stay. The camp is beautiful. The game comes to eat at the camp. The road is just very close and you hear the traffic. We will go again for sure.
Would recommend Piet-My-Vrou anytime. Also thoroughly enjoyed the pool. The fact that you have the place, neat, complete bathroom and swimming pool to yourself is a big plus! The separate, extra outdoor shower and toilet makes it more convenient for a group of people. Really enjoyed the game on the farm. Owners are very friendly and respond quickly to messages.
In general, it is a very neat and nice place to just relax. The bathroom was clean and was cleaned every day. There was barbecue and campfire wood available to have a good barbecue and visit around the fire. Host was very friendly and helpful at all times. The donkey was warm within 20 minutes after the fire was made. The Njala camp is inside the electrified fence and we felt very safe and saw all the wildlife. Just be aware that there are fireworms in the trees but the host has indicated that they will spray them. The nearest garage, liquor store and shop are 8 km away.
Very well equipped with washing area, dining area, braai area and seating. Comfortable bathroom with own key. Nice and private and tidy although passing vehicles can occasionally be heard. Suitable for campers with basic equipment. Nice for a short break. Reception is hospitable and helpful.
