11 guests' feedbackWe made it fun for ourselves. The accommodation is definitely low budget, but was clean and tidy. There was no fan or TV in the room.
The place is not tidy at all. The bed linen and the rooms were dirty. This is also only if there are no white sheets over the bed. The beds were not very comfortable either. There was no Wi-Fi.
No privacy between room and bathroom. No breakfast choice.
On arrival everyone was friendly, but the listed activities on site are untrue. No fishing or bird watching. Sliding door leading to the street. Gate that must be unlocked and pushed by hand. On the yard, building materials lie around (with no sign of construction work). Rooms have no refrigerator or cooling (not even a fan). Struggling with keys. Very disappointed and feel unhappy for the price I paid.
Too expensive.
The guesthouse is in a quiet area and we found it to be safe. I was impressed with the cleanliness on the room and especially the bathroom.
The room was small and cramped with no place to move and no facilities - no chair, cupboard, mirror, no place to put your case or hang out some clothes. We were aware that we would have to share a bathroom with 2 other rooms. The area was very noisy with dogs barking and alarms going off all night. In stead of 3 nights we only stayed one and were happy to leave.
There is no place to put suitcases or unpack clothes. There are no drawers or hanging space. There are 15 open pipes and cables on the walls. The bathroom appears to be shared by 3 rooms.
Photos and reality tell two different stories. A bathroom sharing between different rooms was not mentioned anywhere. Rooms directly on the street in busy, noisy neighborhood. We used to drive home after the Kersiefees and not sleep over there.
The reception was chaos. The people didn't know which keys worked where, cupboards were locked with chains and locks, there was no chair and no TV, just one wall plug, a broken light, dirty curtains, a smelly room and an old bed in it tucked into the corner. We sat up all night so we could get out early the next morning. Dirty toilet and we didn't even want to bathe or shower! It was a total negative experience, and I would not recommend the place at all, even to my gardener. I didn't even want to click on one star because it's not even worth one star!
For me the place did not look like a guesthouse. The wardrobes were locked with a chain. I was very uncomfortable and decided to leave in the middle of the night.
