Our stay was fine. It is not really possible to rate a place based on one night. The curtains were good light blockers. The room was a converted double garage, very spacious and quite basic, but clean. The bed was comfortable.

Rooms are very clean and spacious but extremely cold as the windows are kept open 24/7. Rooms will not heat up unless you keep the aircon on all night. Breakfast consist of standard eggs, bacon and sausage. TIP: Close the windows if you know guest will be arriving on specific days. It's not nice stepping into a cold room in winter. An extra blanket will go a very long way and will ensure a good night rest in winter.
The garden area from my window was an eye sore on that specific evening and it would be advisable if the owner could put out doom or anything for mosquitos - they drove me insane that night.
When I stepped in, I realized I could only have booked for two days! We got more than I paid for - big enough space, warm beds with excellent mattresses, a top sheet, spotless bathroom and kitchen. We didn't know of other people on site - peaceful atmosphere. Thank you very much for a delicious breakfast by the hostess, Somari, excellent service from the host and cutest company from little Emma. Ceres has a champion guesthouse in their midst. Cherish it!

I was warmly received in spite of arriving totally drenched on my bicycle. My bicycle was put in the garage without me needing to ask. Their human side was displayed and is much appreciated.
Lovely stay with a good breakfast and everything one needs in a room. Good value for money. Security very good and centrally located. Would definitely recommend the place.
We went with a stroller and they went out of their way to help us and store our bikes safely.

Our stay was wonderful and problem free. Host and hostess are very friendly and hospitable. If I could recommend something I would mention that there should have been an extra blanket available in the room, as only one bed had an electric blanket.
Room was clean and pleasant, just a bit awkward with the room/s being attached to the main house.
