Stunning views, great location and comfortable house.
We had a wonderful stay and had visits from many creators. Relaxing and worth the while. I would definitely go back again soon!
We appreciated the fact that on New Year's Eve there were no fireworks/crackers to be heard in the area.
The place needs an upgrade on television room, bathrooms and kitchen. Access to garage is needed for vehicle's security and sun protection. Online booking arrangement was to pay on arrival, but the owner/manager demanded that we pay before arrival.
Lack important kitchen utensils, rice colander, grater, salad bowls, large and medium bowls, small cups, sugar and milk jugs, bottle opener, tray. Decent pots and pans. Really the place is infested with cockroaches. Owner gave 2 cans Mortien Multi Insect killer. No fumigation.
Cigarette butts on stairs. Worms on kitchen floor from rotten meat or dirt that has been standing for a long time. Some of the blinds don't work, cloths on the dining room table haven't been cleaned in a long time. Refrigerator does not make cold. Damp in walls and electrical points against wall. Crockery in cupboard dirty and full of cockroaches. Sent photos of everything to owner. Owner lives somewhere abroad. He called when I started sending pictures and apparently not aware of everything. Owner mentioned that the people who manage the house do not inform him. No grater, pans washed, only two knives - we were five people. We have to put down R1000 cash deposit due to a party that took place the previous weekend. At least it got us back.
It had all the basic things which you might need and the area was lovely and quiet. We were safe and no one disturbed our visit. I will be back again!
It's just like in the pictures.
The owner locked the one door to one of the bedrooms and told us he is expecting someone else to check in the day we leave. In addition, he wanted us to clean ourselves, including the dishes, whilst the place was infested with worms and cockroaches. To top the bad experience, 3 small bowls went missing while he was checking the inventory. We did not even use the bowls, but I saw them in the cupboard that morning. He made us pay cash to replace the bowls, which we did not take. Overall, there was NO sea view and the place was not clean.
The place was very neat and very clean, there is enough of everything you need.
