Kitchen light did not work but was promptly replaced with a new light. The indoor braai needs some attention. Smoke extraction was not working but we got on the roof to adjust the cowl and then it was ok. Otherwise, no other problems.
It is centrally located and the area is nice and quiet and very safe. Will definitely return. The house is very neat and clean. The rooms and bathrooms are nice and spacious. We were very satisfied with the three refrigerators that the house has, because we have been to other places to stay and the refrigerator was never sufficient for the number of guests that the house can take. Also stays for the dishwasher. LOL. The house is really beautiful. We had a fantastic visit.
We as friends going to book again for November 2022 and we definitely booking restoration again. Even the caretaker Jabu is very friendly and helpful.
We do accept that loadshedding is not your fault but it did put a damper on our getaway as it happened 3 times a day and at the most ridiculous times and we had to go and buy our own battery-operated lights (maybe something to consider for your guests).
Place is clean, nice area and value for money. It's big and perfect for getaways. Real home away from home.

The views and house was stunning. The house had everything we needed and there was enough space. Enjoyed my weekend and will definitely be back.
Not for children. No facilities for children. There is no WiFi, but I will recommend it any time (no children under 12).
Our stay was great, very comfortable for a large family. Garage was provided to us, was an alarm device that offered us security and reassured us. The place was tidy and all the necessities were provided. Will definitely go there again and recommend it. Only one negative point, the person who received us was not wearing a mask and Covid 19 regulations were not followed by him at all.

Everyone enjoyed their weekend, especially the tranquility. Only had 1 problem and that is that they have to spray the kitchen because there were unwelcome guests (cook rats) but otherwise it was clean and tidy. Of course as the people bring in the stuff.

Just make sure the previous reservation cleans pots and pans. All there to be used. Will definitely book again. Safety there can be guaranteed safety gates installed before sliding door.

We would prefer to have the choice of a top sheet on the beds or for the advertisement to state that there are no top sheets on the beds. This is especially for the summer, when it's too hot to sleep under a duvet.
The place is safe for children, has adequate parking space, and sufficient place for chilling. Lacks Wi-Fi facilities and lacks sufficient indoor games (pool table, board games, etc.) to keep one occupied on rainy days. Good value for money though.
It's a beautiful house with a peaceful atmosphere. All necessities were available.
We had a ladies family weekend away. We felt safe. We had such a great time. I have already referred more than 3 people. And I too will be looking forward to a weekend there with my husband, kids and my parents.
Restoration is a great place to stay whether you go with family or friends. It caters for your every need and is value for money. I only saw the venue online, but was pleasantly surprised when we arrived for our stay. The whole process from the booking to the stay to leaving was pleasant and painless. Well done!

Very neat, big and extremely comfortable.
Great stay, close to everything. Well equipped, however, the neighbours were a bit off - unnecessarily so when there wasn't even loud music - in fact no music at all or games or anything. On the whole peaceful during the day. A great place to just relax.

The rental agent got our day of arrival wrong. Great was our disappointment when we walked into a dirty and messy house. Check-in time is only after 15:00 which is also very late. The house is big enough for 3 small families to live there with ease. It is a bit far from the sea to just walk. Nice braai and living area. The house could do with a good cleaning on a regular basis.

The Francis family enjoyed this place a lot because there was privacy for everyone and with that we were able to be together for meals and meetings. The place is very neat, clean and spacious. The braai area and balcony with a view over the lagoon is fantastic. We also enjoyed the homey atmosphere and will definitely stay there again. Thank you to the owners for the nice getaway weekend. Everything that you need, very neat and clean!
Preparation for receiving guests can be improved. An hour after the suggested check-in time, the place was still not ready and had not been cleaned very well. Breakage deposit still not refunded after almost 3 weeks (had to be refunded after 1 day).
We were impressed with Restoration and enjoyed the weekend a lot. It was well equipped and very neat.
