We stayed at Richtersveld Experience Lodge while attending a funeral, and the service we received was exceptional and very professional. Despite the gloomy occasion, the staff did their best to make us comfortable and meet our needs. The accommodation was of high quality, the surroundings were peaceful, and detail was handled with care and consideration. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. Their dedication and good service really made a difference in a difficult time.
It was a brief overnight stay on the way to Namibia. The hosts were very friendly, accommodating and communicated very well. Great value for money for a family group.
Accommodation, spacious and adequate, but I did think overpriced when compared to other local venues which we investigated. Did not expect location to be on the main road into Port Nolith.
Customer service was at a low level. Preparation not up to standard. Safety can improve.
The braai area was not so good.
Regardless of load shedding, the WiFi was guaranteed to be on. The area is very safe, clean and tidy and the owners were immediately available when we needed help or something extra.
Room was clean and tidy, very friendly staff. It felt like home away from home.

Has all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Is close to the road going into Port Nolloth, but noise was not a problem.
Rooms are not soundproof, other guests' TVs and small children screaming were a bit disturbing. Would love if the upper part of the windows were made sinuous so that the sun does not shine in early in the morning. Furthermore, everything is very pleasant and the break was lovely and relaxing.

Had a delicious breakfast at the hotel. We just felt for the amount we paid we didn't get what we expected. Lesson we also learned is to check location before making reservations.

Friendly owner Corrie is always helpful to help make it more convenient. Place very neat and clean. It felt like we had many friends come to visit that we hadn't seen in years. And his 2 children were also very helpful. Strongly recommended for any oersoon who wants to spend the night there.
Boeta treated us incredibly well after our staff could only arrive there very late at night due to vehicle and other problems. It is really appreciated. Will definitely use them again.

Lovely place to stay, owners are very welcoming and helpful with info to go see places around the place. We basically just slept there because we were on the beach most of the time.
We spent two nights here last weekend. The host Larissa, is extremely friendly and helpful, and will go out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The place could easily sleep 5 adults, and was clean, fully equipped with lost of little extras. The establishment is excellent value for money. Thanks Larissa for your hospitality and all the little things that made our stay comfortable. We definitely highly recommend Richtersveld Experience Lodge!

Richtersveld Experience Lodge was a great place to stay. The weather was fantastic. It's great for a quiet break from the hustle and bustle.

It's a decent place in general, but some of the furniture is quite old. Main road is closeby, but it wasn't a disturbance. A lot of trucks drive past.

Would appreciate if Dstv's channels could be upgraded really didn't enjoy the channels that were open. Children couldn't even watch cartoons, this is the first lodge that we will be on holiday then you have to move out of your room to watch TV in the living room if you wanted to watch your channel. Hope it will really get attention.
They can just put up canopies for the guests' vehicles because they stand in the sun all day.

Our stay was very nice, all that was missing was a swimming pool and some private relax areas, that would have been nice. Being a family the flat gets small if there is no private outside sitting space. Other than that a very nice place.
Don't be put off by first appearances. Located in a semi industrial area on the road to Port Nolloth. I'm really value quietness during vacation and thought be would wind up disappointed. We were, however, surprised at the tidiness of the unit and the rest of the premises, as well as the friendly reception. We felt welcome immediately. There weren't much traffic on the nearby road and therefore the traffic noise was minimal and not a disturbance as expected. The manager couple went through a lot of trouble, made us feel welcome and we left there as friends. Accommodation was good value for money if you want to spend a few days and explore the region. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

It was really a nice room, private, safe and had everything needed in. Unfortunately Port Nolloth was extremely cold that night and so was the room.
It's on a very busy road and unsafe location. Lost my deposit. Photos look much better than reality. Would not recommend for holiday travelers - especially not for families.

For a first time to Port Nolloth it was an experience. The environment and its modest history of origin leave you moved. The village is small, but the restaurants make up for it. There is hospitality, good menus and good service. The museum of George Moyse is also worth a visit. For our two days there, it was an experience and you can drive around to nearby beaches. Average temperature throughout the year is between 20-25°C. For Richtersveld's tranquility and cold water, it is a must to visit the town. Would we go again: DEFINITELY!
Guesthouse was tidy and has everything you need. There was enough hot water for the whole family of 5 to bathe and shower. Everything was in working order. Braai areas were neat. Hostess dropped in every day to see if everyone was happy. Already bragged and recommended to everyone for holidays.

The Richtersveld Lodge may not be modern or luxuriously equipped, but the atmosphere was one of calm tranquility and the friendly owners gave us excellent service. Rooms were clean and big. Kitchen was well equipped for longer stays. Only complaint might be about the water pressure in the shower.

The unit has everything you need for an overnight stay. Neat, clean - only one thing bothered me, the exhaust fan in the bathroom is very cold, so enjoying a hot shower doesn't help because you're freezing cold when you get out! Port Nolloth in general can be cold.

The photos show a lot nicer than the place itself and the shower tub is too small. The carpet in room 6 does not smell good. Tiles can help. It's industrial rooms turned into bedrooms.
