10 guests' feedbackWe had a wonderful stay in Rietvlei Guest House and the hostess was an excellent hostess. The house is very well equipped. We slept wonderfully warm in the cold winter, and the fireplace in the living room is a winner! The silence on the farm did us good. Away from all the hustle and bustle. We really enjoyed the surroundings and the Karoo silence.
We are a family with small children including a baby. This house worked so well for us. It was clean, tidy and had everything we would need and more. The lovely garden kept the children busy for a long time and the radiant sunrise was a treat. Just a stone's throw from our friends and we will definitely be booking here again!
Great farm visit!
The hosts were extremely welcoming and pleasant to talk to. The original farm house has more than required and is therefore very comfortable. There was no need to leave this oasis. The pool was inviting and the unbelievable grass surrounding the house.
I would gladly go back again. Everything was above expectation. Thank you so much for having us at Your guesthouse, I definitely recommend this place.

Lovely, secluded farm. Large farmhouse on site with other houses. Everything one needs to switch off from the hustle and bustle of the city. We are a family with 4 adult children (his and mine), together with Grandma. First family break that everyone could experience together. The secluded location was fantastic. Dirt road a bit difficult. Not so accessible to Sutherland without a van or 4x4 vehicle.
Thank you for the nice large house. Lots of space for the kids to play. Lovely braai area. Dishwasher was a nice bonus.
I will visit Rietvlei Gastehuis again with a clear heart and definitely recommend it to any family that wants to get away to silence and nature. Everything was above expectations. Would like some more information about the farm, history and family home.
