This was the most amazing place to stay and we can highly recommend it. We were a group of 9 for the Junior Nationals Fly Fishing Competition. The Family De Luxe villas were absolutely perfect - clean, tidy, and well-maintained. They were serviced daily. The views of the beautiful river were stunning, and there were lovely grass areas for kids to play on. The accommodation provided extremely good value for money, and we would definitely book here again. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. 10/10.

Easy to find, and overlooks the Vaal River, the room had it all, including a led lantern, and a little gas bottle to cook with while load shedding. Just an amazing experience with the real platteland feel to it.
We were kindly welcomed on WhatsApp before our arrival with access details to our accommodation. The unit is well equipped with everything needed for self-catering accommodation. There is enough room to move around without unnecessary gadgets that often just get in the way. Unfortunately, we could not use the neat braai area due to the threatening rain.
We will see you again. Thank you very much for a beautiful place with the river's sounds in the background. We will definitely wet lines next time.

The very spacious and clean rooms with the tranquility of the Vaal River and our first cup of coffee made us feel absolutely at home and our stay was a great blessing! Would easily stay there again if needed. Antoinette your place is beautiful! However, the shower in the bathtub was not the best plan. I'm 70 and pretty big and if I were to grab onto glass if I slipped it could have caused a problem.

The ideal place for the family who want to fish, bird watch and listen and just relax. The front units all face the river with a large lawn down to the water. The units are spacious and very neat.

We had a wonderful overnight stay - the house is well equipped with everything you need, it's clean and tidy. Even with load shedding together we could relax peacefully, as provision is made for that with lights and certain power points that work. The children had a great time playing next to the beautiful river. It was a relief after the long road.

On the river front, ospreys calling, a well-situated braai overlooking the Vaal River. What more could one want now, after a day-long drive from the Kgalagadi Park. We will definitely stay there again. Ask for unit 5 or 6 overlooking the water.

The unit is well equipped and we didn't need anything extra for the overnight stay. The lawn on the river bank is neat and we saw geese and an otter.
After the disappointment of the position of the unit I booked, Antoinette went absolutely out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We could go for a nice walk along the river and do "bird watching". Had a nice time.

There was initially a misunderstanding with the unit we were allocated but this was rectified. Although the unit is spacious, it appeared that it was not fully finished. The floors were only cement and so were the bathrooms. There were some loose carpets. The sink in the bathroom was leaking. There is no shower curtain in the tub which makes showering without spilling difficult. The shower in one bathroom is very close to the sink which made it difficult to move in and out. No toilet roll holders. The owners were friendly and polite.
