Gerrit and his wife are dynamic, friendly and care a lot about their guests. They definitely go the extra mile to make sure your experience is fantastic. We stayed in unit 10 which is clean, tidy and private. I will refer more people to Rocky Hill Guest Farm as the experience exceeded our expectations.
Don't feel like driving more than an hour out of Pretoria? Looking for a peaceful bushland weekend away to a place with painstakingly neat and stylish self-catering chalets with everything you need already included? A fridge, microwave, kettle, gas stove, gas geyser, all cutlery, a warm bed (with an extra blanket in the cupboard), camping chairs and a private boma and barbecue? Add to that a bar on the premises with a projector screen for the rugby, a nice fire for the winter cold, a braai with new friends and good music on top of that! Then there are also quite a few Black Roebucks, Nyalas, Blesbokke, Golden Wildebeest and Black-bellied Bucks that come in just before sunset for their feeding time with the sun setting behind them. It was all included with our visit and made for one of the best weekends! Do yourself a favor and save this page for your next getaway destination! They are down to earth people who made us feel welcome upon our arrival and throughout our 5 day visit. We were truly sad when we had to go home. Rocky Hill is a hidden paradise, the pictures cannot capture the beauty of the place. Gerrit and Anet and their son Edwin's hospitality is incredible and they really go the extra mile to keep their guests more than happy and make our stay and visit there unforgettable. We will go again for sure!

We were received very kindly and immediately felt at home at Rocky Hill Guest Farm. The Chalet is beautiful, everything you could need is available. The beds are top quality! The pool and beautiful garden are a big bonus. The owners viz. Gerrit and Anet are excellent hosts and always made sure we were OK. Guests quickly become part of the family and have a wonderful time together under the lapa. We really enjoyed the mountain bike routes and had the privilege of being able to see a lot of wildlife and even rhinos. The beautiful guest farm is located near Pretoria and we will definitely visit there again soon. Rocky Hill Guest Farm is a beautiful place that we can definitely recommend.
