You forget about the hustle and bustle of your busy life. The accommodation is very well located, literally a block's walk from the sea. The accommodation itself has everything you need to make it as comfortable and convenient as possible. Would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay at Roos Maryn. Dries and Maryna were very welcoming. We had every comfort at our fingertips and we enjoyed the peace and quiet at night sitting on the enclosed verandah by the fireplace, listening to the fire cracking while we braaied our meat. We loved the view, Jacobsbaai is beautiful at night with all the street lights and it is also beautiful in the morning when we had breakfast you could hear the birds and smell the lavender. The place is neat and as clean as a whistle. I would recommend it to anyone. We will definitely be back!

Wasn't aware that we share a lovely porch and braai facilities with the owners, even though they gave us privacy - thought Roos Maryn was a detached unit on the same plot as owners. As for the kitchen, the cooling facilities are not sufficient, especially if you are staying there for more than a weekend. A fridge with larger freezer space and cool keeping section will be more popular. In light of load shedding that will remain with us, a two plate gas stove would be a better option than the current 'snappy chef'. A toilet brush is required in the bathroom.
I would have liked to have known ahead of time, that the unit is a few rooms from the owner's house, with a few doors separating you from the owner, and you can hear the owner above and next to you. The house is in a busy street which took away from the tranquility a little bit. We had use of the nice large stoep and built-in braai and a goat came for a visit in the evenings, it was too nice to see. Everything we needed was provided in the unit and it was neat and clean. . There were also delicious biscuits left for us. We also went to watch the rugby at the Rock Lobster pub, delicious right next to the sea. We had a nice rest in Jacobsbaai.
Fantastic large veranda with tables and chairs that call for a barbecue.
My son and his wife stayed here while we were in Jacobs Bay for the weekend and it was the ideal place for these purposes.
We parked the car until we left again (provided you have your own supply of food).

We came to Togryersvlei after a wedding, and really enjoyed our overnight stay at Roos Maryn's.
Maryna and Dries immediately made us feel at home. The place was beautiful and very tidy. The kitchen is nicely furnished and very tidy and they left delicious biscuits for us. They asked every now and then if everything was okay but never got in our way although they went out of their way to make everything special. For the prize a winner!
The 3 days were wonderful for me and my wife. It is so peaceful there. And everything was very neat and comfortable. And the reception was brilliant, we immediately felt at home and welcome. Will definitely go there again.

The room is suitable for a couple passing through and only staying one night. Our room was comfortable, very clean and warm (the heater in the room was GREAT on a cold winter night). The en-suite was clean and spacious. The kitchenette was separate from the room, which wasn’t a problem for us but maybe if a user prefers privacy. Our sleep was disturbed by the constant dripping of water as there are no gutters on the house. This room would be suitable for an overnight stay.

Warm West Coast welcome by Dries and Maryna. Since there is no TV in the room (hooray!), they allowed us to watch the rugby test in their home and on top of that, treated us to the most delicious home-baked dumplings, hot from the oven! Lovely sun porch overlooking the neat little front garden, with blinds that can be closed in winter. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a carefree weekend. There was coffee, tea and biscuits, and in addition a box of milk in the fridge. We packed coffee, but completely forgot about milk! We also loved the feather duvet on the bed.
It's a lovely, affordable home for a weekend. Nice walking distance to the sea. Quiet atmosphere after the rat race during the week.
