San Lameer is close to most activities in the South Coast area. It was really a pleasant break away. We will most definitely visit San Lameer again.
Friendly staff, good services, everything was fantastic. I'll love to come back again. It's a peaceful place to relax and have a breathtaking moment.
The arrival was very professional. Estate very well maintained. The beach was beautiful with private entrance. The environment was like a fresh wind and very good roads. Lots to do and great places to eat. As I understand, they plan solar to avoid loadshedding.

The following was wrong with the unit: * Bed past its sell by date. * Sleeper couch broken and cushions so bad that I sat on camping chairs for the two weeks. * Curtain rail falling down. * Curtain hooks missing. * Shower door rollers broken and falls off rail when opening and closing. * No available plugs by bed, all used for internal items in the complex. * Main pool balustrade broken. * Main pool green. * Main pool insufficient chairs and umbrellas. * Restaurant food below par for the prices charged. * Restaurant service - Still waiting for it. General. * During our stay, heard lots of people complaining about the same.
Besides the stay, the breakfast at the terrace isn't that good.
Unit is tidy and well equipped, would definitely stay here again.
Unit very cute, just needs laundry rack to hang swimwear and maybe gas plate for loadshedding.

The unit is very comfortable and the braai a plus. Would recommend it for sure, our little wife came to visit me every morning. Nice and clean place. Just don't keep the door open for a second ─ those monkeys are very fast and agile.

The villa is very convenient, well-equipped and very neat and clean. Enough space to move and the fact that it is on the ground floor makes it more perfect if you want to braai.
San Lameer is a paradise. However, we expected more from the unit. It is well located but a bit cramped which made us feel that we didn't pay a fair price. However, it is well equipped. We enjoyed the porch. We were delighted with the Kyknet channel on the TV, but unfortunately there were no other channels that were worthwhile for us. Overall we really enjoyed the holiday.
We had a great stay at Villa 2004 and can't wait to stay there again. Maretha went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed - thank you so much Maretha!

House rules
The Villa has uncapped Wi-Fi inside the apartment.- The unit can accommodate 3 persons, but the 3rd person must be below the age of 6 years, as per estate rules.
- Entrance fees for 2 vehicles are included in the price.
Any additional vehicles will be charged at R100 per vehicle.
- Linen is provided and only replaced for stays of longer than five days. Bath towels are provided and replaced every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Additional linen and towel changes can be arranged at an extra fee. Guests need to provide their own beach towels.
- TV with streaming capabilities.
HOUSEKEEPING:
Low Season: Limited to Monday, Wednesday and Friday's only. Should you require additional days, please inform us as this can be arranged at an extra fee.
Mid-and High Season (Long weekends and School Holidays): Serviced every day, except for Sundays and Public Holidays.
All December and January bookings should be paid one month prior to arrival. No payments can be made at the estate and should be settled before arrival.
ESTATE HOUSE RULES:
By booking this unit, our guest accepts the term & conditions as well as the house rules of the estate that will be visited.
Motorcycles are not allowed on the estate and prior arrangement has to be made in order to park the motorcycles in the estate.
CANCELLATIONS:
Should we be able to source another booking, we will gladly refund the full amount, less the admin fee.
South Africa is experiencing consistent load-shedding affecting all areas, including the South Coast. In the past, San Lameer has had occasions whereby the Eskom breakers in Marina Beach tripped and left the estate without power for a day. We are not able to predict these events and this is out of our control. Please come prepared.
Beaches are influenced by weekly tests to determine if it is safe to swim or not and we can not guarantee that the beach will be open for swimming.
The UGU Municipality does have seasonal problems with water supply in the South Coast, which might influence your stay. Although San Lameer has boreholes and reserve tanks, they are still reliant on the supply of the municipality. It is very important to note that we can’t control or predict their water supply but will notify our guests should there be an expected problem.
Please note we can unfortunately not provide refunds on these instances mentioned, and advise guests to take the matter up with the related supplier of the service, or alternatively do not book the unit.
