The unit has a portable 1.5Kw inverter for the most essential items during load-shedding as well as a couple of emergency lights. Furthermore, a one-plate gas cooker should alleviate some of the pain during load-shedding. There is a backup water tank.
The house consists of 4 bedrooms that share the use of 3 bathrooms. Three of the rooms are each furnished with a double bed, while the fourth room as 2 single beds. For convenience, all linen and towels are provided.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, tea-and-coffee-making facilities, as well as an 8-seater dining table. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also included. The lounge is equipped with a TV with selective DStv channels, and the living area opens onto a patio with braai facilities. The unit also has WIFI.
The estate offers guests access to a communal swimming pool, tennis courts, restaurants, as well as a spa, and is just a short distance from the beach.

Cutlery was cheap and poor quality and bathrooms were in poor state. Not true value for money.

House rules
ADDITIONAL FEES:Entrance fees for 2 vehicles are included in the price.
Any additional vehicles will be charged at R100 per vehicle.
Linen are provided and only replaced for stays of longer then five days.
Bath towels are provided and replaced every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Additional linen and towel changes can be arranged at an extra fee.
Selective Dstv channels included.
Guests need to bring along their own beach towels.
HOUSEKEEPING:
Low Season: Limited to Monday, Wednesday and Friday's only. Should you require additional days, please inform us as this can be arranged at an extra fee.
Mid-and High Season (Long weekends and School Holidays): Serviced everyday, except for Sundays and Public Holidays.
All December and January bookings should be paid one month prior to arrival.

ESTATE HOUSE RULES
By booking this unit, our guest accepts the term & conditions as well as the house rules of the estate that will be visited.
Motorcycles are not allowed on the estate and prior arrangement has to be made in order to park the motorcycles in the estate.
CANCELLATIONS:
Should we be able to source another booking, we will gladly refund the full amount, less the admin fee.
South Africa is experiencing consistent load-shedding affecting all areas, including the South Coast. In the past, San Lameer has had occasions whereby the Eskom breakers in Marina Beach tripped and left the estate without power for a day. We are not able to predict these events and this is out of our control. Please come prepared.
Beaches are influenced by weekly tests to determine if it is safe to swim or not and we can not guarantee that the beach will be open for swimming.
The UGU Municipality does have seasonal problems with water supply in the South Coast, which might influence your stay. Although San Lameer has boreholes and reserve tanks, they are still reliant on the supply of the municipality. It is very important to note that we can't control or predict their water supply but will notify our guests should there be an expected problem.
Please note we can unfortunately not provide refunds on these instances mentioned, and advise guests to take the matter up with the related supplier of the service, or alternatively do not book the unit.
