It was incredible. Definitely booking with Savoy again because there definitely will be a next time - that's how amazing our stay was. Beautiful views, clean, crisp, fresh air all around. We were provided with everything we needed to cater for ourselves, beds were hard to get out of. Chef's kiss!

We had a great stay at Savoy. The unit is well furnished with all the basic necessities you will use. There was only one wine glass. The complex is not fenced, but we never felt unsafe. There was security patrol walking in the area.

Thank you, we had a great stay. The bathroom light just doesn't work and it was a bit uncomfortable. The warm blankets work perfectly, but there was one that didn't arrive. The single bed upstairs has a warm blanket, but there is no plug to turn it on.

Just traveling through Clarens, would've loved to be able to make a cup of tea, there's only coffee and sugar. No milk or tea.

The unit was nice but we had grandparents and our two small kids so it lacked privacy because you can hear and see everything! It's a small unit so it does get congested when booking for 6 people like we did. It was neat and clean.

We made a lovely long weekend of our visit in Clarens. The environment is beautiful and close to my heart. Although we enjoyed our stay in Savoy, I would not recommend it for families with small children, as the upper level is of such a nature that the children could easily fall down there. For families with older children, or a group of friends it is ideal for a weekend.

There is no fence. The parking area is also not fenced. I was a woman alone. This makes it very unsafe.

The advertisement should have included 'open plan'. We chose the accommodation for my parents as well as myself, my husband and little boy, assuming that there were two rooms. My parents had to find other accommodation as there was no privacy. The price is not worth it for just three people. The railing (though thin wood and rope) at the upper room is not safe for children, this is valid for the stairs as well, stairs are very stylish without necessary railings. There is a beam where I bumped my head a few times, no necessary warning signs. The glass shower door didn't have a bottom rubber, so the whole bathroom was soaking wet. The parking is very far from the unit with no visual security.

We were not informed of where or how to get hold of the key. The only pin no I received on documentation was incorrect. When we arrived I could not get hold of the owner. It was just after 5pm and Clarens was cold! With a lot of struggle we happened to find someone at the laundromat who could help us gain access to Savoy. We probably didn't gain access until 6:00 p.m. Still no word from owner. When I did get hold of him he indicated that he had already sent me all the information, which was not the case and only to find out later that it was for the guests who will be staying there next weekend. He did apologize several times (his wife was also in the hospital) and I accepted it that way. There were items that didn't work that I brought to his attention. Some of it was repaired on Saturday and he brought us home-baked cupcakes. There are a few more things I will bring to Brian's attention to spruce up the unit to make it an even better experience for the guests. We must have had a bad time, no water, no power, cold and dark, but I really don't know if I will stay there again.

Will not book again where they require 100 percent deposit before you arrive. Just looking for their money, lame Whatsapp excuses about complaints! Disappointing!

Location is poorly located above Clarens, not close to view, accommodation is very small and not suitable for 4 adults. 1 small bar fridge, small freezer/fridge space, no fans, no air conditioning, no coffee maker as advertised. Although agent arranged for a portable air conditioner, after we complained about it. Water was a problem, no water for 2 days, although it was a municipal problem according to the agent. Small sitting area and grass wasn't even cut. Grills were not cleaned and are not cleaned. According to the advertisement it looks very nice, but it is in a complex area with no view of Clarens, with about 40 apartments. Not fenced at all. Well a roof for your vehicle, but no further security.
