Second time at this lodge and it's beyond. So much attention to detail, lots of character and charm, with a touch of boho - my favorite type of decor/design. Breakfast was delicious! Thank you Kerry and her husband for making my husband and me time there truly magnificent. All the best for your future endeavors!
On arrival I was able to upgrade my room for a better view, one evening I was treated to water lily stew.

Saxon Lodge in Gansbaai's location is perfect. We were warmly welcomed, the rooms are spacious and tidy and the breakfast is delicious.

Did not enjoy a room without a view. We were not advised until on arrival. Not everyone would appreciate it. Recommend installing back up lighting in the rooms for nightfall during load shedding times.

We enjoyed our stay from the warm welcome received upon our arrival until we left. The unit which slept 4 was comfortable cosy and sophisticated. The breakfast was simple yet deliciously prepared. Beautiful sea views and if you a runner the rolling hills around the lodge makes for a good morning endurance run. Thank you Caron Dave and your daughter for your hospitality.

The host and hostess were extremely friendly and helpful. Their excellent bilingualism impressed us. Our room was clean and tidy with good bedding and the breakfast was delicious! Unfortunately we were only in Gansbaai for one night, but will stay there again!

First received a friendly welcome from the beautiful dog en then the staff. Room was spacious and comfortably equipped. View was beautiful. The staff and management were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really pleasant. There are very few places that can fry an egg the way you expect it to be done. Service at breakfast was smart!
We had a very pleasant stay at Saxon Lodge. The rooms are extremely neat and has everything one needs. Beautiful views and wonderful hosts. We would most definitely stay there again.

Driver very pleasant. Nice breakfast, the room we had was a bit old and in need of renovation, but didn't bother. Cabinet was very small. Curtains on windows are cumbersome and difficult to get them open. But, as said, overall a nice place.
