Marita is a friendly and helpful hostess. The property has all the facilities you need and the accommodation is tidy. The breakfast the next morning was also very nice. We will certainly recommend Schoemansrus and if we are in the area again, we will certainly book there again.
Was great but the suites just need some ventilation, very stuffy if you keep the door closed. No ventilation in the bathroom, nor is there a window. We couldn't even use the bath because there is a motive not to waste water, and you should shower instead.
Beautiful, cosy, and well-appointed accommodation in Riebeek Wes. What made our stay memorable was our host. We notified her on Friday evening that we don't eat pork or eggs, and she quickly made a plan and provided a scrumptious breakfast to send us on our way to the gravel bike race we were doing. We really appreciate the effort.

The guest house is very neat and clean. It is in a good area. I did have to wait half an hour in front of the gate before I could enter. It came to my attention that the owner was not there. The lady who stood in was very friendly. However, I would appreciate it if the owner replied to my message and explained why she was not there. It made the experience a bit unpleasant.
Room is neat and sheets clean. Mold in the bathroom is unpleasant. Host was not home. Had to wait a long time outside the gate for someone to open. Breakfast was very nice.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Maintenance needed on patio (awnings) and the braai area. Bedrooms weren't serviced daily.
Beautiful rooms with a wonderful hostess and delicious breakfast.
