8 guests' feedbackOn arrival, we were greeted by the most delightful manager at reception who was very informative. The room was very spacious and clean with complimentary water. The breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed walking on the Barker trail which is well-maintained and the path goes through some beautiful areas.
The staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options. The rooms were clean and included ice-cold water in the mini-fridge and Nespresso machine! Absolute luxury and value for money!
It's just a pity that the tranquility is spoiled by monkeys, who "attack" the food tables (outside), as if they were their own - quite a damper on a nice visit because they are known for a lot of trouble and damage. They belong in nature and should not be allowed among the visitors/tourists in the facility. Also, the facility issues a code (with reservation), which you need to get into the gate/entrance, which we didn't have, or get, and it caused a long wait, behind us, from others visitors who wanted to enter. They should please ensure that the code reaches reviewers.
I played golf early morning and I settled my account the night before. When my partner, who has Parkinson's disease, handed the key in the morning, reception insisted that there was a balance of R610 outstanding. Caused all sorts of drama! Fortunately the people picking her up convinced the reception to wait for me to deal with this matter after golf. We do not have a balance outstanding!
The staff and everything was great. Not to mention the rates.

Hotel is beautiful, rooms nice and spacious and well equipped. Can pay attention to the cleanliness of the dining room! Carpets are dirty and tablecloths are ironed and untidy! Expected more from the four star hotel.
The unit is beautiful and gardens picturesque. Breakfast was poor as we had to wait more than half an hour in a line just to get 2 fried eggs. Not enough food and what was left was already cold.
