Our time at Sevens Guesthouse was perfect, except that there was tea/coffee making facilities for only one person in the room and we were with two.
Beds slept great, very nice decor. Quiet environment. Easy to reach, secure parking. Breakfast was delicious! Hostess so cute and friendly! Will definitely stay there again and recommend others there.

The warm blankets in the cold winter made it very pleasant and the bed sleeps very well. The place is very neat and clean.
Some rooms have bathtubs, but then you don't have a microwave oven or any utensils like in the rooms with showers. It wasn't very clear on the app when we made the choice.

Given the cheap rate, I was very pleasantly surprised with the good service, cleanliness of the rooms, as well as the facilities in the rooms. First prize for value for money!
The spacious rooms were good value for money. Everything was neat and clean and the rose garden and raised walkway and rooms worked extremely well together to create a pleasant environment. Everything was immaculately clean - we would have liked to see mats next to the bed. It's definitely a place to consider.

The showers' water alternates between ice cold and hot and the water takes forever to warm up, just a friendly recommendation that you should look into it, it really wastes a lot of water and there is already a water shortage in Kroonstad.

Caroline was very professional, incredibly friendly and a delight to deal with. The rooms were very clean and each one has a different ‘touch’ that makes it unique. The beds were comfortable and the showers had lovely hot water and the air-con’s worked. There are no houses around the guesthouse so even though you are in the town you don’t feel like you are. We were a family of 11 and there was sufficient space for us to sit on the veranda and enjoy a cup of coffee together without having to sit in the dining room which we appreciated as we watched the sun set. A delightful experience!

Although I traveled alone and only stayed for one night, I was very impressed with the guest house. The customer service and hospitality was great, my room was clean and tidy and I had the most beautiful view. Communication on the day of my arrival was effective (Angela even let me know that I could check in earlier if I wanted) and the reception at the guest house was welcoming. I recommend Sevens Guest House with pleasure!

Wooden structure neat and clean, our room was near reception area and it was very noisy with footsteps and room is not soundproof. Smoking area also right in front of our room door.

Everything was fine. The air conditioner under the floor is very noisy though. Tip: make a foundation or put poles in the ground and fasten it to them - will make a big difference. Sorry for the late response.
We arrived just before 6 pm, but no-one opened the gate for us. We then phoned the cellphone number on the sign, but they simply provided the code for the gate. We then went to reception, but the door was locked and there was no-one there. We contacted the cell number again and we were told to go to room 5, the key is in the door. But how can we go there if the doors are locked? Then a woman came driving up to reception and asked us why we looked so scared. She opened up and gave us room 3. We were told that there is NO ONE else on the premises and that we have to walk around the house if we want to go out. There is no path, no lights. Then she also informed us that she would not be there the next morning, but that the cleaning lady would be there and that we should just give her the keys. It's completely unacceptable to call yourself a guest house and then treat your guests like this. Furthermore the shower was beautiful, but there was no door and the bathroom was flooded every time you take a shower. The TV was so small, we couldn't really see anything. The wooden structure causes you to hear everything your neighbours are doing. Totally unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
We were made to feel welcome before we got there with directions sent and confirmation of booking. Engela welcomed us and let everyone into the room ahead of time. The room is fantastically clean and cleaned every day. Clean water and coffee available every day. We had a great time and will definitely be there again next year for the jukebox week. It is very quiet and peaceful, with everything needed to feel cared for and pampered. Highly recommend the stay.
I would only recommend that maybe showers are installed in all the rooms. The bath is very uncomfortable and slippery, and with a shower you will also use much less water.
It was my first time staying in Kroonstad and Sevens Guest House is truly a nice place for anyone to stay. The air conditioning in the rooms was excellent to counteract the Free State summer heat and the service provided was fantastic. Recommend the guest house to any traveler.

We had a nice stay, except for the traffic noise on the N1 and lots of mosquitoes, which kept us awake for much of the night. We were also disappointed when we were told that they had no knowledge of our arrival. Fortunately, she still had three rooms available.

Wooden house, very neatly equipped, all necessities in room. They could have put in a bigger TV screen. The TV sits very high and should have been placed more towards the middle of the wall. The open shower is not pleasant - water runs all over the floor. Not enough storage space for toiletries in bathroom. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. It was restless. It is located at the end of town right next to the highway. The trucks' noise made us feel unsafe. The streets to the guest house are very bad. The neighbors dogs' barking was disturbing.

Sevens Guesthouse was "great". Although we only spent 3 hours of sleep there, it was still great. Everything was very neat and clean, and it felt like we were visiting the farm. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Thanks, will stay there again. The price might just be a little tight.

We arrived very late, nevertheless, Adri explained everything and also confirmed with SMS. Room was very neat and comfortable! Much more than I would expect from log house! It's truly a very nice overnight place for us who live so far north! Will definitely use them again, but just have to say, the path to the premises must be taken with courage, quite a lot of potholes, but they are more than compensated by the room!

The guest house still lacks a facility or two especially in relation to the summer. The wooden concept is beautiful, but a specific place is required in rooms for clothes.
The guest house is fairly new, clean and tidy. It is close to the N1 for travelers. The owner is also very friendly and helpful.
Our one night stay was very pleasant with a warm welcome and a very nice and well presented breakfast the next morning. Only request I had was to ensure there are toilet brushes available in the toilets. The shower concept was quite unique with the coble stones as the shower floor.

Accommodation was very pleasant. The log cabin-type structure is a bit noisy when people move around in the adjoining rooms.
Neat guest house, friendly, but you feel a little unsafe. Cars are far from the rooms, easy access from the street to the house. If their security can improve we will definitely stay there again.
The place to stay is neat and located in a quiet area, just a shame the roads in Kroonstad are in such a battered condition, but this is beyond the control of the guest house.
Very neat and clean, with nice decorations. Would definitely recommend it if you just want to sleep over for a night. However, there is no covered parking and the "fence" around the place did not reassure me that our car (and us) was safe. The doors also have no security gates.
