Two bedrooms are furnished with 1 queen-size bed, 2 single beds and a double sleeper couch in each, while the other 2 bedrooms are furnished with 2 single beds and a double sleeper couch. In addition to the awesome surroundings, guests are spoiled with the options of various activities, which include, game drives, horseback riding, cold and heated swimming pools, and an outdoor spa. A private game drive vehicle can be hired for self-drive. A chef service can be added as an extra or full board services may be requested. Menu options are available but remain subject to change.

7 guests' feedbackWe had a wonderful stay in Shasha Lodge, so much so that we stayed an extra night! We were a group of 11 with 9 young children. There was more than enough sleeping space for all of us. The rooms are spacious with good quality bed linen and beds. Bathrooms also spacious and clean. The added bonus is the jacuzzi and the pool table. We had animal visitors every day, impalas, peacocks, even a troop of monkeys. The view is very nice and the position great. The kids went fishing at Rocky's Fishing hole which I can highly recommend. We also booked a game drive through Lynette and saw impalas, kudus, giraffes, buffaloes, and even a rhinoceros with calf. We will definitely visit again!

In general, we had a great time there, the views are beautiful, the children played wonderfully and were safe where we could watch them. There is more than enough cutlery, glasses and so on for the 20 guests plus people from outside. The facilities in the house are fantastic and there is much more than one would expect from such a place. Lynette helped with the enquiries. The place is very nice and we can see there have been recent upgrades. The floors were not clean on arrival. And the additional bedding for the sofa beds is rare. I would suggest that the place could improve in that. And perhaps cleaning services and the vehicles are not included in the price as additional costs (since one cannot drive in the section with one's own transport). The place was also just further away from Mabalingwe itself than I expected. But really a stunning place, we look forward to our next family weekend there!
Spacious and comfortable especially that we were a large group of people. Everything was nice and clean, and hiring the game drive vehicle for the day was an absolute must.
The view is so beautiful.
The overall stay was pleasant, and the place looked nice, but the customer service is poor.

House rules
The property has a low noise and music policy which applies to every day, 24 hours a day with no exception. Music and hi-fi systems are not permitted outside the unit. No Loud noise and/or music are allowed between 22:00 and 07:00. Penalties or fines may be imposed by the Body Corporate and guests may be asked to leave the reserve.No refunds will be processed in this case.
Breakage deposits will be refunded 5-7 days after check-out. It is the guest’s responsibility to provide us with banking details for the refund.
All windows and doors need to be closed when the lodge is not occupied. Entry by wild animals, and baboons resulting in damages and extra cleaning will be for the tenant's account. This will be deducted from the breakage deposit.
Firewood may not be collected from the surrounding bush.
No domestic pets are allowed.
Guests accept that the management of the reserve, homeowners and agents do not accept liability for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused by animals, weather conditions, injury, power cuts, fire or theft of any kind.
The speed limit on roads is strictly 25km/h
In the Cyferfontein camp where the lodge is situated, you may only traverse in a green game drive vehicle. Should you prefer not to rent a Green Game Drive vehicle, you may still do so in your own private vehicle but then you would need to access the park with your private vehicle at the main entrance for Mabalingwe. Please ensure you understand this before confirming your reservation. Liaise with your hostess upfront should this arrangement not suit you.
