Everything we needed, even the shampoo, body wash, the personal touch to everything, it gave us a real Bushveld vibe, and only 20 minutes from Sun City and 30 minutes from Pilanesberg Wild Reserve, saw elephants, rhinos, impalas, baboons, zebras and many more.
The hosts were so welcoming. The place is clean, modern and beautiful. Found outside of the bustling city and close to the Pilansberg, it was really a money's worth stay.

Stay was extremely pleasant. The unit was extremely clean and all the gadgets you may need, especially battery-operated fans for load shedding. The kitchen was well-equipped, including a gas kettle in case the power goes out.
What an amazing place to stay. The apartment is so complete and clean. And the host is so helpful and such a sweet person. I loved the garden and braai area, and I loved to sit in the pool during these hot days. Just around the corner of one of the entrances of Pilanesberg.

Lovingly decorated rooms make you feel immediately welcome, and the beds are very comfortable. Thoughtful additions to the kitchen like a thermos flask and travel mug for early morning coffee at a Pilanesberg waterhole if you forget your own at home. All the crockery, glassware, kitchen utensils, pots, and cutlery you could possibly need for a weekend away. We made use of the clean and inviting braai area both to braai our dinner and to build a fire later to sit around while discussing the day's sightings. Close to Manyane gate. An absolute gem that we will visit again. We have already recommended it to friends.

Our unit at Shelley's Sleepover was extremely comfortable and very well-equipped. We received a warm welcome and orientation from our charming hostess, and one small plumbing problem was dealt with immediately by our equally harming host, who later checked that we had settled in well. Shelley's is very well located for day trips into the Pilansberg and is very good value for money.

Very nice hostess. The house was extremely neat and has everything one needs. Good location in safe area. Despite load shedding we always had power supply and there was no problem. The guest house is also conveniently close to the Manyane Gate for a visit to the Pilanesberg Wildlife Park. Would recommend the guest house to everyone who wants to visit Pilanesberg.
We have stayed in their Aloe unit and Mbizi unit before. We were very happy with our stay both times. The staff is very nice and the units are clean and neat. They are approximately 3km from Manyane Gate so the location is perfect if you want to go into Pilanesberg National Park. We will definitely return again.

Was initially worried about the location but was pleasantly surprised. Was really pleasant.
We appreciated the extra effort that went into load shedding. A standby generator was available and the braai area was covered, which made it possible to get the meat cooked on the fire during the worst thunderstorm we Capetonians have ever experienced.

The 3 units are fully self-catering and have sleeping capacities ranging from 2 to 4 guests per unit. Please inquire if there are additional guests. The Shumba, Mbizi, and Aloe unit is furnished with a king bed that can be converted into twin beds, and some have a sleeper couch or single beds included that are perfect for children. The Tranquility Room is furnished with a queen size and a small kitchen outside the unit. The bathrooms are fitted with either a shower, or shower-over-bath, basin, and toilet. All linen and towels are provided.
The Shumba, Mbizi, Aloe and Tranquility units each feature a kitchen equipped with a fridge-freezer, 2 or 4-plate gas stove-oven, microwave, crockery, and cutlery, tea- and coffee-making facilities as well as a dining table for guests to enjoy their meals.
There’s a communal boma braai area (and each unit has its own little portable braai and seating)available as well as safe parking on the premises. There’s also a splash pool available. Guests have Wi-Fi access in all units.
