Beautifully decorated house with breathtaking views of the ocean. Fully equipped kitchen. Relaxing atmosphere. My teenagers loved the table tennis table, pool table, fingerboard and numerous books. Definitely value for money. Friendly owner. We will be back soon.
The house is spacious and well equipped. The views of the ocean from the balcony are spectacular. We saw plenty of whales too. It is the perfect place for a larger group of friends or relatives spending time together.

Beautiful house with a picture-perfect view! Well equipped kitchen and house with lots of games and activities for children! Dogs can safely run away together and yard is fully fenced. Wish we could visit longer!

House was comfortable and good value for money. Everything you need is provided, and the pool and table tennis tables are a bonus. The house is nicely decorated, although the bathrooms are a little outdated. It's not too close, but a nice walk down to the beach. Being on the hillside gives you peace and quiet and a nice view.
Sit en Kyk is an ideal place for families and friends to get together. We only booked two rooms, but if you book all five, it accommodates a lot of people. The lounge and stoep areas, as well as the kitchen, are comfortable and spacious, and the games area with table tennis and a mini pool table is fantastic for those not-so-lekker weather days.
Good entertainment with the pool table, table tennis and board games. Very friendly hostess. Beautiful rooms. Most beautiful view right around the house. Washing machine, dishwasher and 'inverter' made our visit even more convenient. Everything was perfect! Would definitely recommend the house for a family with children.

From the booking, checking in, our stay and the checking out, everything exceeded our expectations. Everything you might need is there. The beds are comfortable, the sea views are incredible and we spotted so many whales from the covered balcony. The kitchen has every amenity and the inverter makes loadshedding a breeze. The location is great, with the hiking trails starting just down the road from the house. Everything was super clean and the washing machine was an extra treat. We had a great time at Sit-en-kyk. Su-Mari, the owner, accommodated us in every way. She always made sure everything was in place for our comfort, we really couldn't have asked for anything better. The place was spotless, and the check-in went smoothly thanks to Junita who was responsible for this and who was also always available if we needed anything. The place itself is a dream: absolutely fully equipped with the most beautiful view. We almost didn't want to drive anywhere, just sat on the balcony and visited and squinted at the view! The location is excellent, close enough to the beach and town, but also far enough to ensure tranquility. I can confidently recommend Sit-en-kyk and would very much like to use the accommodation again in the future.

Five star accommodation. Perfect accommodation for a family gathering/outing. The view is breathtaking, sea and mountains. All you need to take with you is your food and clothes. Our Yorkie enjoyed it immensely and the yard was also very safe for him. Definitely animal friendly. Junita is truly an asset and made us feel very welcome and at home. This house is so nice for a big family from old to young. There is a lot of space, many rooms, many bathrooms, a beautiful view and just all around fun. I would recommend it any day and would love to go back. The house is very well equipped and very tidy.
The house is spacious and has absolutely everything one needs. The fact that it is pet-friendly is a bonus! Even 7 nights in this palace was too short! The owner is hospitable and accommodating and the pool table and table tennis were a winner for the children, especially with loadshedding stage 6 at times they could still play to their heart's content. The place is very clean and has everything you would need in a home. The view is amazing and the sound of the sea really calms you down. It is close to the sea for daily visits to the beach and nice long steps in the sea water.
It feels like your own home. All the necessary facilities are there. It would be nice if you could park your car in the garage.
I looked everywhere for a property that could accommodate 4 adult couples and 4 children. Sit-and-see not only fully complied with this, but with all other requirements, luxuries and delights. We lacked nothing! There was plenty of space, indoor entertainment in the form of board games, snooker and table tennis - as well as lovely places to hang out at either the braai place, or the fireplace, or the veranda with the view. Ten out of ten!
We were 3 but 8 adults could stay comfortably. It was hot so maybe a couple of extra fans downstairs would be nice. The curtain rod in the main bedroom needed attention. Would definitely go again.

What a wonderful experience from the booking to our departure back home. The owner went out of her way to make sure we were comfortably furnished and that everything went as we expected. The unit is exceptionally equipped and it doesn't feel like you're on vacation, but rather like you're staying in your own home, complete with board games, snooker/pool table and table tennis. We really just sat every day and looked at the exceptional view of the sea and the mountains, it is something that is definitely worth experiencing for yourself and should be on everyone's bucket list.

Sit-en-Kyk caters for 13 people, but is a dream for a senior citizen couple (like us). We enjoyed the silence, all the facilities (even table tennis). We love walking and many of the routes can be reached from here. We were even surprised with executioners coming to ask for food when we were sitting on the balcony.

We had a great time at Sit en Kyk. There was more than enough room for our 2 families with enough bathrooms for everyone and a whole area for the kids. Outdoor play space is not much. The 2 fridges were a bonus. The only downside was the lack of sun, it's a cold house, maybe better in high summer, but the fireplace helped to warm upstairs. It will be even better with sharp knives in the kitchen and if you can pay attention to the damp musty smell, especially in the children's room.

We really enjoyed our time. It truly was a home away from home lol. The house is therefore more suitable for adults than children because there are not really many activities to keep them busy, but otherwise we enjoyed it.

We are two families who spent a weekend together in Sit-en-kyk. The place is perfect with views, a sheltered braai area and entertainment for the young team. The kitchen is fully equipped and with a very comfortable living room. Su-Marie was on the ball with all the arrangements. I highly recommend it.

The house and accommodation was perfect for our three families and it was close enough to the beach for many daily trips. After the hustle of beach and town it was lovely to be staying close to the nature reserve for peace and quiet and beautiful views.

Very well equipped and tidy, with beautiful sea views from the back porch. Very well received by Junita and problem with the TV was quickly sorted out by Su-Marie. We were only two guests (which is really a waste, as the house could comfortably house so many more people in four more bedrooms. The rec room on the lower level is fantastic and I can only imagine how my children and grandchildren will enjoy it when we visit Sit-en-Kyk again.

We were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful place in quiet surroundings (winter holiday). Would highly recommended this stay for any family type and definitely return if the opportunity presents itself. The fireplace in planning inside will be great. Stunning view over Walker Bay in a peaceful neighbourhood. The house has all the facilities and is ideal for a large family and group of friends. Kids and adults can keep themselves busy with a variety of board games like snooker, badminton and finger board. It's close to all the mountain hiking trails and just a few minutes' drive from Grotto beach and Die Plaat. Friendly and helpful Su-Mari and Jeanette made life even easier. We'll come visit again.
