Everything was neat and impeccably clean, which made it extremely comfortable. The rooms are well equipped and very comfortable. It is clear that great attention is paid to detail to make guests' stay as pleasant as possible. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for relaxation and cleanliness in a beautiful setting.

Such a lovely experience and stay from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed, and our rooms were immaculate with everything you could need. Lovely en-suite bathroom and TV. Beautiful high ceiling and stunning decor, and clean bedding. We will definitely be back!

Parked and noise 2 hours in the morning. You advertise check-in at 19:00 at the latest, but then allow people to check-in at 2:00 at night.
Need better communication on arrival at restaurant in town centre as to where the accommodation is. Could be more welcoming.
Poor communication - I had to call the guest house to find out where reception was - then had to drive to the owner's restaurant to check in and get the key. No dishcloths, dishcloth in kitchenette, also only 1 fork and 2 cake forks to eat with!
Nice overnight stay. Quiet and clean rooms.
Unlike elsewhere, we only slept one night here. The guest house is not as classy as Karos in Loxton, but we also had a pleasant stay here. The Manna restaurant, which is connected to the guest house, provides tasty meals.
Owner opened the shop especially for us. Very friendly people.

We had to collect the key from the restaurant where we were warmly received, and also their services were introduced to us.
The Manna restaurant is the best part of the guesthouse.
Major disappointment even in the area where you do not expect much. Very narrow bed with awful mattress. Slippery carpet on a slippery floor with plenty of dust underneath. No air conditioning or ceiling fan. No WiFi, indifferent service. The most expensive of all facilities experienced in this area.
Fairly acceptable, good overnight accommodation. Was frustrating that no one informed us in advance that the keys had to be collected from a nearby restaurant. A friendly passerby informed us about this. This is just plain poor customer service in my opinion. The already old and badly weathered outer door also does not fit properly in the door frame. Let in lots of cold wind and glare from the street light. A little maintenance will go a long way. Had to pinch a towel in door to alleviate problem somewhat.
Long wait for the key. No TV for the night. No WiFi the next day. The microwave is out of order. No privacy in the bathroom. The safety and location are good. The room is clean and tidy.

After a long drive on the hot Northern Cape roads, Soek 'n Slapie Guesthouse was a relief. Service is great. Within walking distance of a very good restaurant. Safe environment. Great service. Excellent facilities.
The guest house is comfortable and the restaurant has a very nice variety of dishes. The hostess was very friendly and helpful.

Oasis in Karoo for a tired body.
I just planned a nice bike ride from the southern part of South Africa to the Augrabian waterfalls. Williston is a small town with a big heart. Had a great meal at the restaurant. Was blown away by the gem! Ate well and slept well. Will continue here again!

Very good accommodation. Exceptionally cool rooms in a hot karoo. Painfully neat. Nothing to complain about!
Only one thing: in spite of knowing there would be loadshedding, there were no candles or light for us to use.
My wife and I are goot people and a queen bed is nice. The chairs and bench are beautiful but lightweight. Close to main road and trucks can be a problem at night.
No Communication as to where to meet and pick up the keys. The gentleman opened the door gave the keys and that was that, no explanations. No toilet paper, my husband had to go find in another room. No WiFi, gave us a few different passwords and nothing, hugely disappointing No milk in the room and not even 2 small bottles of water. Shower kept flooding, however the restaurant that was part of the guest house was amazing, good food and excellent service!
