Very good service! Easiest check-in we had. Beautiful view and environment. Calm and green. Felt like a little oasis in the dry and extremely hot Northern Cape. Perfect distance from Kathu and Deben. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. We had the opportunity to feed the camel and eland - wow! Only issue might be - the trucks on the gravel road next to the guesthouse can take a bit getting used to. Further, fantastic stay!
We were well received on arrival. They went out of their way to provide us with lunch packs, and were always responsive to our requests.
Had a nice stay. Friendly service and reception. It is just very far from Kathu, which is not clearly stated on the website.
The whole feeling you get at the guest house just reminds you of the Karoo. The garden is well kept and tidy and the room itself is very tidy. A highlight was being able to feed Julia, the camel, the next morning.
No one to welcome us, had to find the key. No power due to power outage all night and no backup power, no security gaurd and we were all alone with no other guests in a dark, big place. Huge amount of dust and noise from mining trucks. Only 1 towel and no one to help give us another one. Maintenace lacking.

Tannie Vicky is a gem, her hospitable welcome makes you feel right at home, good service, delicious food and beautiful room with the biggest bathroom and shower we have ever seen. Garden and pool very neat. Will definitely visit again.

We stayed at Stokkiesdraai in the same room a few months ago with no problems. What a disappointment with the last visit. The room was not cleaned properly at all, with sand and spiders all over the room, bath etc. The ceiling is also falling out and needs urgent repairs. Very disappointing.

All that's missing is Supersport 1 on DStv, add if you can. Also very nice stay.
The staff were very friendly and concerned about our comfort. Enjoy a nice breakfast the next morning.
The pictures shown of the guest house were misleading, no farm atmosphere. Trucks drive 24 hours a day to a site behind the guest house, honking their horns all the time. Marinda, the cook, received us, tried her best to make it pleasant and left the site again. No staff on site. Room no. 6 has no towel rails of any kind. Bedside lights don't work. Kathu treated and neglected us as visiting guests!
