We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at Strandkombuis!
Beautiful and tranquil place, I had an amazing time.
West coast jewel with the most beautiful long/white beaches.
Very nice stay. Would definitely recommend. There are only a lot of bugs and a very big ant problem, so take poison with you. The ants were in the bed when we got there and something bit our baby boy, but other than that we had a great stay.
I had a great stay, location is so central and close to the beach. I only took dogs with me and they didn't put me in a pet-friendly area, so I had to keep my dogs inside the whole time. It was a bit of a limitation.
The beach is beautiful and makes for a very simple place to stay. The rooms are small and have a few things like lights that don't work and only one chair per room that sleeps two. We got 2 rooms. Number 14 has no window and very small porch - luckily we could use number 12's larger porch as a family.
Weekend was awesome! Unfortunately, WiFi was not offered to us, and there were no chairs in our room. Staff also do not come to the room to ask if everything is okay.
All comfort that there is is a kettle in the rooms. The room opens onto the bathroom and is a small space. There is no small fridge or kitchen area. There are no cupboards either - just hanging space. No light is provided for loadshedding. No towels were provided. Bath mat was dirty. Breakfast is served outdoors but even on freezing cold days it is still served that way and the food itself was also cold. It did not meet our expectations for the price.
Scenery was beautiful, comfy accommodation and good breakfast. Stunning beach.
Lovely restuarant and visiting area with a breathtaking view if you are on the dune. Will definitely go again for the pizza nights and the delicious Sunday seafood buffet. The little kids rode all over the world on their plastic motorbikes - too fun.

We had a wonderful stay. Rustic beach cottages, with just the most amazing beach walks, breakfast is camp style with proper bread, sausage, bacon, eggs, jams, and brilliant coffee. We had a great time.

We were disappointed that there was no TV (considering the price), but the bedding was clean and we slept well and showered well. The room is indeed very small. The food at breakfast was also nice.
Scenery was extraordinary. The quietness and easy access to other places was relevant for doing outings for the day. Will definitely come back for relaxation time.
Although we had a good stay the facilities are very basic. No fridge and storage space for loose items is very little, especially in the bathroom. Place was clean and there was nice hot water. The breakfast was good but a bit late.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Beach Kitchen unless the price is drastically reduced to match the standard. The Wifi on the premises is only available at the reception. Not in the rooms at all. The reception was totally deserted and dirty when we got there. We had to go find someone to help us get the key. For the price one would expect there should be a TV in the rooms. We also felt very unsafe as we were the only people on the premises and any person could gain access to the premises. However, beach kitchen has a special location between the sea and the pan in front of the units with flamingos and other birds, but needs serious upgrading.
It would have been nice if there was someone to assist us when we first arrived, like showing us where our room was. Upon entering our room, the toilet was still a bit dirty and the towels and bedding all had stains on it, some cushion covers also didn't smell like they were washed. We had to go and find someone to clean the toilet first. There was no bin or chair in the room. The area is a nice place to be but more attention needs to paid to the interior of the rooms, because I personally felt my money was not well spent. Breakfast too basic, no coffee.
Had a delicious breakfast the next morning. Beautiful surroundings and beaches.
Will certainly recommend and visit again.
People are very friendly.
Very nice area and neat rooms. We were just crammed into the back with no patio, chairs or barbecue area, which made it a little uncomfortable. Every time I wanted to make the final payment the system was offline which was not ideal.
