The double-storey house can accommodate up to 14 guests in 7 bedrooms and a double sleeper couch in the upstairs lounge. Upstairs comprises the kitchen, living room and 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 1 of which is en-suite. Downstairs comprises 4 bedrooms. The main bedroom contains a king-size bed and 2 of the bedrooms downstairs each contain a queen-size bed. All the other bedrooms have 2 single beds each. Each bedroom has a built-in cupboard and is fitted with a ceiling fan for the warm summer evenings.
The upstairs living room offers sea views, and a TV with full DStv. There is also a second lounge downstairs with full DStv. The downstairs lounge opens onto a grassed garden for the children to play, and a private swimming pool where guests can relax after a day on the beach. The swimming pool has a safety net to keep the little ones or non swimmers safe.
The house is equipped with free Wi-Fi limited to 10GB of blended data per month, so it is not meant for excessive downloading. The house offers 2 entrances. At the main entrance there is a double automated garage for secure parking and the second entrance at the back of the property allows for ample off-road gated parking for guests. There is also a single garage plus a lock-up carport.

8 guests' feedbackWe had a good time but load shedding stage 6 tried to ruin our well-planned vacation. We had problems preparing our food because there was no power, but the host arranged to get a gas stove and cylinder, then we were able to eat.
Summer Dreams is a place to visit. It has 360 degrees views, is beautiful with clean bedrooms, a beautiful and clean swimming pool and the premises have well-cut grass and is marvellous to take pictures too. The place is not far from the sea, that alone makes it the best holiday destination. Without fear, I can proudly recommend this place to other people.
Perfect for an extended family getaway.
Pros: The location of the house is great, not too far from restaurants and the beach. It is very spacious and comfortably accommodates large groups of people, there is a flatlet which is great for those in the group that may want a little privacy. Maree is very polite and willing to assist where she can. Cons: The house is in desperate need of maintenance and thorough cleaning. When we arrived there was an awful smell in the house and all the windows and doors needed to be left open, the house was not clean, to the point that we actually felt uncomfortable. Having little kids the first thing that i did when i arrived was sweep the staircase which was disgustingly dirty. Maree was accommodating and sent the cleaning ladies to clean again the next day, however this should be a priority before guests arrive. The kitchen is in bad condition and has huge cockroaches, a fumigation is definitely necessary. We were unable to leave any food in the cupboards due to ants, everything had be be sealed in plastic packets or kept in the fridge. Even the dishes did not seem clean, we washed everything before we used it, the pillows and curtains had green mould stains on them. Thankfully I only saw the condition of the pillows on the last day. We spent 2 additional nights in a hotel after checking out and could feel how much cleaner the space was. This could be an amazing holiday destination, if these things are taken care of.
Upon arrival the alarm went off whilst getting into the property. Reaction unit was so prompt. Was an absolute wonder waking up to beautiful sea breeze and views. The house was absolutely clean (that was my highlight, as I get paranoid easily). The rooms were all so neat clean and tidy. The beds were so comfy. The living room upstairs had a bit of old couches, but we made it work for us and it was not an issue. The pool was also very relaxing with evening sun. A much enjoyed holiday and thank you for an awesome venue. My family is still talking about the holiday and can't wait to return for another treat.
The was no water the whole weekend, they kept telling us they will bring the pump, they never brought it back and the wifi was not working which they promised.
Relaxing wave sounds. Had enough space to cater for all age groups.
Incredible sea view. Enough space for everyone. You won't be in each other's way, even if there are 16 people. Kitchen could use some attention. It would have been nice if there was an egg beater and frying pan. But beyond that, we can only say that the stay was amazing. Will go back again for sure.

Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R3000 is payable directly to the establishment.Check-in/check-out details
House rules
The breakage deposit will be refunded approximately two weeks after your departure less any deductions necessary. You will receive the deposit through a bank transfer to the bank account that you stipulate.Inventories must be checked by the tenant upon arrival, and any discrepancies reported within 12 hours of arrival. If no shortages or damages are reported, the contents of the units will be regarded as correct and the tenants will be held responsible for any shortages or breakages incurred. Please note that the unit is only inspected after the client has vacated the premises.
Any damage to the property immoveable or moveable, save for wear and tear, which is not covered by the Key & Breakage deposit will be for the guest account and invoiced to the guest for payment.
The premises are let for holiday purposes ONLY and only for the period stated on the booking letter. NO weddings, parties, or large gatherings are allowed. The number of people occupying the premises must not exceed the maximum tenants the house provides for (children inclusive).
Tenants will not be allowed to enter and or occupy the unit where their numbers exceed maximum tenants per unit, in which case guests forfeit their full fees and deposit.
Tenants and their visitors must abide by our terms and the rules of the local Municipality bi-laws so as to avoid eviction of tenants or their guests. The owner reserves the right to remove tenants if they are drunk and disorderly or cause a disturbance of the peace in which case tenants forfeit their full fees and deposit.
This is a non-smoking residential property. Total forfeiture of key/breakage deposit to steam clean carpets, curtains, furniture will be implemented and a further fine will be imposed for smoking indoors. Any furniture damaged with cigarette burns will be charged at full replacement cost (including delivery and installation).
No pets are allowed unless written approval is given by management.
Please bring your own beach towels, black bags, toilet paper and dish washing liquid. A minimal amount of these items are supplied. All bed linen is provided.
