23 guests' feedbackWe again enjoyed our stay in Summerhill Guest Farm! It is a bit like a botanic garden, with lots of greenery and many trees providing plenty of shade, which we especially enjoyed on hot days. There are also nice small animals, which is perfect to see for children, various braai areas, and a nice pool. We have been there 4 times and every time we had really good holidays there. Bob and Wendy are always very friendly and informative.
Friendly welcome and we stayed for 1 night - would have liked to stay much longer. Very nice garden and guest house well equipped. Special towels. Had a delicious ony bite with good coffee
Very relaxing and had a delicious breakfast.
Surfaces were not wiped down, the boiler was tackled and hadn't been wiped down on the outside for years. All the plug switches are dirty. The shower drain is full of hair. The couch's upholstery is full of stains. In the pictures it looks nice, and if you look at the price, I didn't expect that. This is not worth R2000 a night at all, I understood it was a 4-star but it is a 3-star.

Summerhill Guest Farm really is a "hidden gem". I had a very pleasant visit. Wendy and Bob were very hospitable and friendly. The pool was especially lovely. I would definitely recommend and visit again!
Bob and Wendy were very friendly and accommodation. Beautiful views of the mountains, just up the road and out of the town which is great! So many areas to walk around in and look at, beautiful maintained gardens and different animals to go look at. We could have easily spent another day there.
Four very nice nights at Bob and Wendy's. Hospitably received, Bob made an effort to introduce us to the area and was very interested in us as guests. Would recommend it for sure.

I had a wonderful stay alone in the Lavender Cottage, which I would recommend. Private, secure, with views of the Hex River Mountains. Yet close to the main house, so one doesn't feel too alone. Fantastic location - 5 minutes from Worcester's shops, but tucked away in a secret valley, where you can jog, visit the Karoo Botanical Garden, and view mountains. Delicious breakfast, friendly dogs, good service, safe privacy and beautiful surroundings.
We were a group of 4 adults, 3 children, 3 small dogs, 3 tow vehicles and 3 trailers. Summerhill Gasteplaas was willing to accommodate us. The accommodation is very comfortable and is as advertised. A swimming pool and large garden give a tranquility and space that is wonderful for children and parents to enjoy. The breakfast the next morning before we left was really worth it and top notch. Individuals working on a tight budget may find the rates high, but the extras that Summerhill offers in terms of beautiful surroundings, safety, space, pool, garden and bird life make it worth the money.
What a beautiful location in Worcester and close to Cape Town. I would definitely recommend a stay whether you are travelling on business or with the family. The restaurants are close by and it's a lovely area to explore. The hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable about the region. I also really enjoyed the breakfast. We were travelling with our dog and she was most welcome at the property which is a great benefit as there are not many pet-friendly places in the area.

We received great service from the moment we pressed the "book" button. Nice units with enough sleeping space for everyone! And bonus that it's pet-friendly, because who wants to travel without your beloved pets?
A beautiful place to experience the serenity of nature.
What a wonderful time we had on our vacation with Wendy and Bob. From day one we just had fun relaxing and hanging out. Every day our boys aged 5 and 7 are out early to go say hello to all the animals and help Uncle Bob take out eggs. They were never bored for a moment and really enjoyed the pool and its local Colgans. We had the most delicious breakfast every morning, and what was even nicer is that the staff were very friendly and helpful. You also didn't stare at the staff all the time and could be yourself. I will definitely stay again if I'm in the area.
We were received very hospitably. Room was clean and tidy. The Parris were very helpful and made recommendations of attractions we could visit. We ate early in the morning and the breakfast was ready every morning and very tasty.
Nice surroundings, comfortable rooms but a few things need attention. I struggled for more than 20 minutes to get into gate. Original self-catering unit booked was changed without my knowledge to a room connected to back of house (no lights so had to go in and out alone in the dark at night). Water supply was problematic. Had to fill toilet with boiler to draw and shower's water temperature changes when other water supplies are opened. Shower was very dirty/mats in bathroom need attention. Room itself very comfortable with necessary facilities. Breakfast was delicious. Very friendly and competent staff.

The place is beautiful and nicely equipped. The owners are friendly and very helpful. The environment is between the mountains and really beautiful!
Very relaxed atmosphere. Lime Tree cottage was beautifully clean and comfortable. Very friendly, really "home to home" on the farm. Breakfast was delicious.
