20 guests' feedbackOur stay was excellent, warm welcome, great place!
If it was perfect, will do some boating next time.
This is the second time we have visited here and can really recommend it. Robbie immediately attended to any problem that came up (there weren't many, but because it allowed during lock time there were one or two problems). We would love to visit again!
The big disappointment was the bathroom. It is advertised that you can bathe under the stars but since they are off the Eskom grid, there is only hot water for 2 people, the others have to take a cold shower in the middle of winter. There is no way that 6 people get hot water with the current solar system they have. We specifically rented the place so that we could drive around the Addo Elephant Park during the day, could not shower during the day to give the water a chance to warm up again. The plug of the bathtub is broken so you can't even bathe. The toilet was broken the first day and the guy who looked after the place came to fix it the next day. Had to wash everything away with a cup, not nice. The pool also needs attention. The beds sleep wonderfully and the bedding is very neat and clean.
There is no view, what a disappointment. Furthermore, we had a good host, friendly and helpful.
Close to Addo Elephant Park! Spacious with large lawn for children. Everything you need. Well equipped for load shedding - big plus!
Very nice stay.
We spent the night at Sundays Mouth Guesthouse en route from Hartenbos to East London, and were pleasantly surprised! The 2 rooms were more like a fully equipped apartment, lots of space, tastefully furnished, containing all the bells and whistles. Can definitely recommend.
Sundays Mouth Guesthouse was a very nice place to stay, everything was there and the place was big and tidy, really what you want when you are away from home. We were very happy with the place, and will book it again.
Would recommend the house to anyone. Everything was there that was needed. We had a great time and caught fish. The visit to Addo Elephant Park was just such an experience.
Everything was very tidy and owner very nice, invited us for a twilight drink, sherry and bottle of wine left for us. We didn't know about the staircase. It was very stylish. The toilet in the bathroom was not a nice option either. The place is ideal for younger people who want to use the river and swimming facilities. Just warn older people in the future. It's definitely not for over seventies.
See stars.
The guest house only had to be a place to stay the night before we went to Addo but could just as well serve as accommodation as the park is opposite and can be driven through in a day. Anyway would love to try some of the activities around Colchester too.
The people were very friendly, helpful and genuine! Everything was very neatly arranged, the decor was tasteful and luxurious. We had a great stay, even as a group too big for the stay, and I believe for a family of four the place is unsurpassed!!
This was a perfect venue 2 km from the Addo Park and we found it child friendly, and excellent value for money. Great pool, gig grass field for kids to play and wish we could stay longer. Robin is a great host and we loved the place.
Everyone loved the bathroom with the glass roof and lovely, deep bath. Thank you, it was delicious.
Very clean and tidy, with everything you need for a comfortable night's stay.
No swimming pool, Jacuzzi or barbecue available. Owner arrogant. No view of the Sundays River.
A lovely guesthouse. The only problem was that the ocean was not directly accessible from the property, but other than that, a great holiday. Thank you.
Great value for money!
