Freekie, the Cape robin, might pay you a visit for a snack of cheese. Guinea fowl and partridges announce their presence in the garden, and you may hear the blue crane.

It was fantastic! The room was comfortable, and the swimming pool was awesome.
Nice quiet weekend away from the fast city life, our hostess very hospitable and helpful always asking if we are still ok, thank you very much.
After a long day on the road we were kindly received by Binki and shown our sleeping place. The apartment was clean and tidy and had all the necessary equipment to meet our three days' full self-catering needs. Our car was able to park under a cover within the well fenced yard with a remote control gate. There is a peaceful quiet atmosphere and we could enjoy a nice coffee on the veranda in the evening and listen to the guinea fowls and other birds. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well.
We had a very nice stay and slept over. Friendly service and very tidy with full DSTV channels. I will definitely stay there again.

Damp showing, damp smell in the room, needs some proper ventilation. Will prefer to stay in another room next time. Too close to the main house and entrance.
Gave our room to someone else who wanted it. Our new room was attached to the owner's house so we couldn't open the windows in the lounge/dining/TV area.
Tarentaal Lodge is a tranquil place, which is situated next to the bushes, it is very quiet and I really enjoyed my stay in it, the people in general were very nice, I really appreciated my stay at the lodge.
Thanks to Dinki and Goerge for your hospitality. We really enjoyed it. Load shedding, well, there is no load shedding. DStv and a nice pool just to relax. The village's people are also friendly. A real holiday spot for young and old and it's also pet friendly.

The location is good, it's not far to Mossel Bay and Stil Bay. The service from Dinkie was excellent. She was very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We appreciate her. The pool was a gem and we enjoyed it immensely. Thank you very much Tarentaal Lodge for a wonderful weekend.

Tarentaal Lodge is a little gem in Albertinia where you can just relax and get the city's noise out of your head. The hostess is friendly, but respects the guests' privacy. The pool is a nice bonus!
It was such a relaxing sleep that we decided to better be late in our journey to the Garden Route than leave the bed.
