Unforgettably enjoyable stay in the Tegwaan Country Getaway. Campfire until late at night, nice hiking trails and cycling.
Only stayed one night and left early the next morning. No problems.
We had a nice stay. Very quiet and peaceful. The eco-toilet is a romantic idea, but it doesn't work and it's not practical. The biological processes required to get rid of the waste are obviously not fast enough and this causes odor, a smell between tea tree oil and rotting faecal substances mixed with urine. There was a mouse in the kitchen cabinet and we had to constantly hide everything in the fridge and sterilize the cutlery.
The shower's water is very weak and the toilet (dry) with sawdust is not for me. No TV either.
Everything I expected was blown away with how beautiful the hiking trails were, and how friendly the staff were. Will definitely go there again!
We stayed in the Tiny House, which is beautiful, it is what its name says: very tiny, but what was failed to mention on the booking is that the toilet is not only separate, but a good 30 meters away of the house. It's not a flush toilet either. It was really unpleasant and although I respect the fact that the owner is trying to be environmentally friendly, it was unhygienic and really unpleasant. They should also have mentioned that this is the setup and posted a photo. We did go home a day early mainly because of the toilet facilities.
Quiet and relaxing with stream for atmosphere, neat and clean facilities.
