The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and living area. The main bedroom is spacious and contains a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with an oval bath, shower and toilet. The second bedroom is also spacious and contains 2 single beds. It has its own bathroom with a shower and toilet.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, oven and stove, and microwave, as well as a dishwasher for convenience. There is also a washing machine in one of the bedrooms. The lounge is equipped with a TV with a full selection of DStv channels, and leads out to a lovely patio with ocean, beach and mountain views.
The apartment is conveniently located within easy reach of restaurants and the harbour. Guests can enjoy lovely coastal walks into town, or spend the day exploring the area.

My stay at the beach apartment was amazing. We had a problem with the DSTV, but the owner was absolutely wonderful and sent out someone to assist. She even gave us a key to open the front door manually in case of load shedding. Unfortunately, the pots had no lids, and there was a cupboard in the passage with electrical wires and the main box that was left unlocked, which was a bit of a concern when you have a 5-year-old in the house. The owner is aware of it and wanted to send someone out to get a lock, but unfortunately we were out. Other than that, the stay and view were just wonderful. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
Although the weather was bad, it was rainy, it was pleasant. The view from the balcony is picture perfect.
Very dissatisfied with quality and value for money of accommodation. We experienced the following: 1. Parking is an absolute nightmare because you basically park in the street and parking lots are not suitable for larger vehicles such as SUVs. It also works almost on a "first come first serve" basis and if vehicles park poorly in the street, larger vehicles do not get into the parking spaces. 2. Apartment was not finished cleaning on arrival and cleaning was rushed. 3. No arrangements around keys, access codes etc. has not been communicated to us. 4. Equipment in the house does not work or is not practical e.g. iron has a short circuit and microwave oven is too small to accommodate a standard plate. Dishwasher also did not wash dishes properly, despite being rinsed before placing in washer. Plasticware has no lids or the lids do not have containers. 5. Kitchen sink has no hot water and plug had no seal on arrival, so all water poured in runs out immediately. 6. View from balcony/porch is 90% blocked by two trees and no view of beach - photos are very misleading. 7. Most patio tiles are broken. 8. There are also from time to time homeless persons who sleep in the parking lot of the building. Most of these items were communicated to Ansie and she sorted them out as best she could, but for this price one would not expect such problems. There are much better value for money places on the Strand/Gordons Bay rental market with none of these problems.
