Would love to visit The Blades again.
Lovely place not too far from Johannesburg for a weekend getaway.
The grounds looked neglected, the dining room furniture was old with dirty spots on the tablecloths and the seats. The upper deck feels like it is falling apart with loose floorboards and safety rails that are loose. Under no circumstances is this a 4 star hotel.
Amazing view, friendly staff, good food. I will definitely be back.
A "hidden gem" around the corner from the house!
This is the 2nd year I've celebrated my birthday there and I think it's going to become an institution.
Our stay was sadly very brief as we were going to a wedding. It was a bit further from the wedding venue than I thought, but nonetheless a really lovely accommodation and somewhere I would stay again.
My partner and I would definitely come back to the Blades again. The rooms are so beautiful. the breakfast is so good and the staff are very friendly. Thank you for making our stay nice. The breath of fresh air was so nice. Thank you!!
