Rooms were very neat and clean and very nicely furnished. Host and hostess very friendly and helpful. What was very striking is the way in which Easter was celebrated and visitors were made a part of it. We really appreciated it. Will definitely stay there again.

The accommodation was easy to find from the N1 highway. Shopping centres are located within a 5-minute drive should you require to purchase anything after arriving. We were met by the owner, who ensured that we were comfortable and happy with our room for the night, and we were made to feel at home. Our vehicle was safely parked on the premises behind a secure gate. The room was spotlessly clean and smelled as fresh as a daisy. It was great to find everything working! A large comfortable bed awaited us after a long drive. The area is quiet, and we slept soundly. The in-room amenities enabled us to relax and enjoy our stay here. Tea bags, sugar, sweetener, ground coffee, a French press, microwave, and kettle allow for quick meals and coffee or tea. There were even cookies on our pillows and rusks in a jar. Bottled water and a sealed container of full cream milk were provided in the fridge. Thank you to you and your team for going out of your way to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. The accommodation exceeded our expectations and will definitely be our first choice for all our future overnight stays in Bloemfontein.

It is extremely neat, private and well furnished. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend the place to anyone. The host received us kindly and let us in. The shower is lovely, there is good coffee in the room. The air conditioner works well to cool the room. It is a nice place to spend the night.

I was kindly welcomed by Riaan, who followed up a few times throughout the weekend to see if everything was still okay. Our room was beautiful with delicious pure white linen. Provision was also made for nice plunger coffee which was a bonus point! Will definitely stay there again.
Riaan's Homestead was spacious enough for our family of four. Everything works well and is clean. The DStv was handy for watching rugby. Very satisfied.
If I ever have to go to Bloemfontein again (this time it was a rugby tour at Gray College), I will definitely stay with Riaan and his team, Dyna and Julia again - they were very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble . My room was everything I needed. Riaan stayed in touch via WhatsApp and was available on his cell if needed. Thanks for a lovely few days at The Homestead!

There is a lovely Lapa to entertain and visit with friends. The swimming pool is lovely. The cottage has everything you can think of needing, like a washing machine and tumble dryer. There are also extras in the room that add to the enjoyment of one's stay.
The rooms are beautiful, neat and clean. Really couldn't fault anything. This is the second time we have stayed there, and will definitely stay there again.

We were so impressed with the quality of our stay at The Homestead. Beautifully done rooms with lovely linen, towels etc. Everything was of the highest quality. Great little extras, such as filter coffee, rusks, milk, bottled water. Wine available to purchase. Pristine swimming pool. Next time we are in Bloem, we would have no hesitation at all in staying here again.
I stayed in the Blessings unit for a week - what a blessing! Tastefully furnished, lovely bathroom, spacious - everything I could possibly ask for. Every afternoon after the course I returned to a sparkling clean place. The no kitchen sink was not missed at all, dishes were taken away every day and returned clean. I felt very safe and even though the guest house is located next to a major road, I was never aware of traffic. The private entrance and garden of Blessing was an extra plus for me. Thank you very much Riaan for your hospitality - I will definitely stay there again!
It felt like home. Unfortunately we lost our son at the Hospital so we had to leave on Friday.

The rooms are beautiful and hospitality of the highest quality. The hot water in the showers was a problem for 2 nights and 2 of the 3 rooms in our booking had to shower in cold water.
Beautiful guest house, neat and clean. We had a problem with a door at 20:00 in the evening and Riaan quickly arranged for it to be resolved. Very good and friendly service at Homestead. Will recommend for sure.

We stayed in the two bedroom unit. Everything is quality: plates, glasses etc. The multitude of face/hand wash towels during Covid is brilliant. Exceptional value for money. Was surprised about washing machine and tumble dryer. Riaan heard daily whether everything was OK without interfering. Thanks for that! I have already let the rest of the family know that we will all stay there next time in Bloem. Now that was a really nice surprise that we didn't expect. With two teenage/adult sons with no complaints it speaks volumes. Well done Rian! Our best stay in a long time!

The unit is very well equipped and we missed nothing. There was quite a few extras, like water and milk in the firdge, filter coffee and delicious rusks and cookies on our bed to welcome us. Riaan is also a great host and made sure nothing was missing and made our stay as comfortable as possible. The Homestead Cottage became a haven in Bloemfontein and we can strongly recommend it.
