The Water House is a unique lagoon-based holiday destination for families with a passion for water-based sports and leisure. Situated 11 km east of Hermanus on a tranquil and private estate close to the Hermanus Yacht Club, the property is positioned between the mountains and the lagoon and lends itself to a casual lifestyle with all the conveniences of a traditional holiday home. Situated in a safe and secure estate comprising only 7 properties, you can have all the privacy you desire.

The Water House is a double-storey self-catering house that can accommodate up to 10 guests. There are 2 living areas designed for different purposes.

The house has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 toilets, and a shower room. The upstairs living area is positioned in the centre of the house, separating the main bedroom and providing a degree of privacy. There is seating for 6, a work desk, and 2 balconies with lovely views. Three of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers, baths, toilets and washbasins. The other 2 bedrooms have washbasins and share a shower-room and toilet. Downstairs has 2 mountain-facing twin bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and 1 guest toilet adjacent to the living room. Upstairs has 1 mountain-facing bedroom with a queen-size bed, and 1 lagoon-facing bedroom with a queen-size bed that shares a shower-room and toilet. The lagoon-facing main bedroom has a king-size bed and mountain-facing en-suite bathroom.

Downstairs, you will find the entrance hall which has a dining table seating 10, and connects the lagoon and mountain-facing sides of the house; the 2 downstairs bedrooms and the kitchen and dining room. The living room has 2 sofas seating 6, there is satellite television and a sound bar. The kitchen has a bench seating 5, a vast amount of work space, a full-size fridge and freezer, and a separate scullery with a washing machine, a dishwasher and a kitchen sink. For your private entertainment, the terrace has a table seating 8, a 'waiter's window' connecting to the kitchen, a pizza oven, a portable gas braai, a freestanding wood braai as well as access to the pool and lagoon.

The entrance hall leads straight through to the front of the house which has a spectacular view of the lagoon and looks down on the inviting swimming pool, surrounded by well-kept gardens. The indigenous fynbos garden leads down to the lagoon area, where one can find a separate round communal pool.
