The accommodation was ideally located. We only requested breakfast the first morning due to our busy schedule, but it was deliciously prepared. Rooms equipped with a Nespresso, they get bonus stars for that! Communicate with daily management via WhatsApp and always kept up to date.
Very comfortable stay. A later than normal check-in and the friendly host was very welcoming. Even though it was not winter yet, the electric blanket made it all very cosy.
Everything was neat and service was good.
It was a beautiful, Victorian decor house. The bedroom was big and spacious with its own en suite. Very tidy and clean. The ladies were very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

The guest house is very well located for visiting especially the Northern suburbs and Boland. Cape Town and the peninsula are also easily accessible outside peak times. The facilities are good. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We have been here for three days and are very satisfied with this guesthouse. Everything was well taken care of and every morning we had a delicious breakfast. The hostess was very friendly and has a nice guesthouse in a nice neighborhood.

We simply spent one night at the guest house. I found it to be comfortable and the staff pleasant.
Our room was assigned upstairs although I asked for ground room as my wife has knee problem. Toilet has no door and is unhygienic. At least was placed under next day. Why not just at the sign-up.
Room was fully equipped, but think there are small improvements to be made. The headboard is loose and makes noise when you turn over in bed. In the bathroom, the loose bathtub's legs are uneven, so it wobbles when you bathe. There wasn't a plug either.

The self-catering unit number 9 has no bathroom door. The bathrooms are part of the room, but not private. The curtains are neglected and too short. We had a nice stay but they lacked final décor-finishings. There was also no safe parking, we had to park outside the guesthouse's gates in front of the garage for 6 nights. A night or two is understandable but if there is a problem with parking they should communicate it beforehand.
It was a great experience, especially after we stayed in another guesthouse the previous week which we will never see again. Everything was clean and neat. We will definitely use Welgemoed Guest House again.

Calm atmosphere.
The guest house's people were friendly. There is secure parking behind a security gate. Nice coffee in the rooms, with air conditioning. We also had a nice bath and there are lovely soft towels and bed linen. We didn't eat there, but it looked nice. It gives you the feeling of an old farmhouse.
We enjoyed it very much. The people were very helpful in meeting all our needs. Very friendly and very neat.
This guest house is truly a diamond! The customer service is exceptional. It's always neat and clean, and on top of that, it's one of the nicest guesthouses I've had the privilege of visiting! Definitely a must. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to hear.
