Unforgettable time at Thulani Lodge. From when we stopped there until we left again. Unbelievably beautiful place, if you need rest for your soul, this is definitely the place to be. Will definitely go back again.
We had a really nice stay. It is so peaceful and terribly beautiful in the nature around you, and everything was tidy. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. Very nice lodge. Very nice breakfast too. Will go again for sure. Thank you very much, Thulani Game Lodge & Eco Estate.
Quiet time in the bush. Great place to enjoy walks and bike rides.
We were welcomed early by Rodney. Our booking was made last minute, but they were able to accommodate us. Our jacuzzi was not operational, but that was explained prior to arrival. We were offered a great option of 5-course meals. We opted for the braai version; everything was exceptionally fresh. Our room was beautiful, but we had 1 tree blocking our view just a tad bit and a leaking tap, but that was mentioned to the owner for note. The farm is lovely and quiet, and you can walk to a small viewpoint on a deck for a sundowner. They also offer massages. We were a bit late and tired, so we skipped it. Overall, we enjoyed our night out of Joburg. Thank you, Rodney and wife.
Thulani Lodge was the best getaway ever. Quiet in God's nature. So so beautiful and absolutely worth the money. My husband and I relaxed and enjoyed life and each other and nature. And staff go out of their way to help. Great food and everything was just the best and then the little church on their premises. Wish more churches could be open for prayer time like this. So amazing thank you very much we will definitely visit you again. Nice week.
Thulani Game Lodge was an absolute highlight for me and my wife. From the unit, to the view, the food, the service - everything great! We stayed in one of the Stilted Tents and the photos do not do justice to how spacious and luxurious it is. We were able to properly rest and switch off. The jacuzzi was also a highlight. Their service was truly exceptional. We would highly recommend Thulani Game Lodge to any couple looking for a stress-free getaway.
My wife and I had the best time at Thulani Game Lodge & Eco Estate. We needed a relaxing weekend away and that is exactly what we got. The unit (Stilted Tent) is fantastic, and I would say the photos do not even do it justice. The layout and view from the unit were just awesome. It is the perfect unit for a romantic and stress-free weekend away - I would even stay for as long as a week . Rodney and his team provided excellent service and always made sure we had everything we need. The jacuzzi, spa, and game drive were all great! We would highly recommend Thulani Game Lodge & Eco Estate to anyone, but especially couples. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!
It was delicious! Very beautiful and peaceful. Can definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get away and just forget the hustle and bustle of life for a bit!
We enjoyed our stay at Thulani Game Lodge & Eco Estate very much. The hospitality was terrific and the service was very good. The best place to rest away from the busy lifestyle. I would recommend Thulani Game Lodge & Eco Estate to all!
We really enjoyed the weekend. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our jacuzzi was ready on arrival and the spa treatments were highly recommended! We could find everything we needed there. Everything clean and tidy.
Unbelievably beautiful view. Very calm.
We had a lovely time just felt very unorganized and felt like we didnt know where anything was. They really need to update photos as it was not the same as the pictures. And for people going in summer note there is no aircons !!!!!!!!!
Don't advertise self catering if you don't have the facilities. If you have to pay extra for everything, just pay more from the get-go and stay at a far better lodge.
Beautiful location. stunning unit. Perfect couples retreat. Owner was not transparent about prices. From game drive to resturants, everything come with a condition and a hidden cost. Leaving us with a huge surprise bill at the end.
Thanks to Rodney, Martje, and the team at Thulani Game Lodge & Eco Estate for making my wife's and my 23rd wedding anniversary special. We loved every moment and the luxurious rustic vibe. See you again.
The location is great, the accommodation is the best.
We had an amazing, totally relaxing long weekend. Our unit at Thulani Game Lodge & Eco Estate was absolutely beautiful, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. We loved the private pool and outdoor area. The surroundings were so peaceful and quiet, the perfect place to relax and get away from city life. I would also recommend a visit to the spa and restaurant. Definitely the best food and service we've had in a long time. We would also like to thank the owners and staff for the excellent service and friendliness we received.
See stars.
We could use spa facilities, and we could also walk. Was very nice environment.
Fantastic accommodation and rates.
Beautiful view. Friendly and helpful staff. Had an amazing picnic and can highly recommend it.
We had an amazing stay with the most beautiful scenery and very helpful staff.
Woodland with many animals. Go for a nice long walk every morning. Golf cart was a winner and could drive up close to the animals. Clean and tidy with friendly staff. Private and resting place for your soul.
Maintenance needs attention.
Lovely place the only drawbacks is the toad to get there.
The view is very nice and the staff are friendly, but overworked. The sink faucet in the tent leaked and the floor is not stable. The jacuzzi's water made us feel as if we were sitting in the previous guests' water and oils. The breakfast price is ridiculously expensive for what you get - R215.00 for one breakfast. The meat is hopelessly overpriced and we were charged a lot of money to use the jacuzzi, which we were not aware of. The owner gave no indication of the jacuzzi being so expensive to use and no costs were discussed.
Stay venue everything was perfect up to the point where i asked for the check out bill where i got way over charged and paid without thinking, on my drive home i tried to work out how the dinners could have cost that much, over R300 a plate so i called and asked for a breakdown of the bill that i still havent received, spoke to Rodney and still waiting for an answer.
Was a great visit and relaxing.
We were well received upon arrival. My wife and I really felt at home and the nature around us brought us closer together. The silence and privacy was precious to us and brought us closer to each other and the Lord. The golf cart with which we went on wild rides was so unique, my wife and I together in nature. The host and his wife and their staff were amazing.
I have already recommended this guest house to friends! The neat, safe and peaceful guest house was ideal for us. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to assist us with advice and action.
You know you're staying at a game lodge when you encounter 8 species of game on the way to the lodge! Spacious and comfortable accommodation in a very quiet, peaceful and beautiful environment.
We really enjoyed the tranquility and natural beauty. The goats that roam freely and graze are special. There is no noise from children. "The Skinny Cook" at the restaurant is certainly competent at his job, we had a great meal. The staff and Rodney were friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. We will definitely go there again to recharge.
Friendly and good service.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Many thanks to the owner for personal and excellent service. Feel free to try the Craft Gin and the Craft Mix, it's excellent.
Rodney went out of his way to make the weekend as peaceful and quiet as possible for us.
We enjoyed our stay, we only stayed one night, arrived late, we would have enjoyed it more if we arrived earlier.
We took the self-catering option, and did not use the restaurant facilities at all. The resort was not very well equipped for the loadshedding that the area experiences. Unfortunately, there was one weak rechargeable light in our room. The woodland is very dark when the power is off! We had to ask for extra plates, cutlery and glasses as there were only two of each in the kitchen. One would expect better from a 4 star facility.
Nice, calm! People helpful, very remote.
We are used to paying for the accommodation and most things are included. Nothing is included in Thulani. You have to pay for the wood that is there, you don't even get 1 bag for free. One chooses the house and pays more for the house with the Jacuzzi. Then one has to pay extra to use the Jacuzzi. One is not allowed to take a game drive with one's own vehicle and has to pay a ridiculous amount for a game drive. I suggest you take your own bikes or pack in hiking gear so you can get to know the farm on foot. It's very beautiful. But you constantly feel you are being milked for every penny you have. So that part is not nice at all. I have been to many places and at least there is always something complimentary for the guests. At Thulani, nothing is complimentary. It's very frustrating. If you don't mind being milked for alder, I would recommend it. It's really very beautiful. The houses are clean and beautiful.
Fresh light and tranquility.
Thulani Game Logde is cute and beautiful and I will suggest it to people. Just watch out for additional costs that can push the price of the accommodation up a lot. The wood, bilts, jacuzzi, rides, etc. is all additional and quite expensive. For the same price, one can stay at a five-star that is all-inclusive.
Misinformed. No complimentary drinks for the spa. Not the full body I know. Even though the place itself is beautiful, I will never recommend it to anyone. I spent R10 000 for this whole stay and expenses. No rangers to escort you on a game drive. R575 per hour which we did not even spend an hour, but still had to pay. I really don't want to find myself at this lodge again. I am disappointed.
Thulani Game Lodge & Eco Estate is beautiful, it is much more beautiful than in the pictures. We had a really nice stay, the view is breathtaking! Everything was clean and the bed very comfortable. You see the most beautiful wildlife on the premises on the way to your accommodation. I would not recommend low cars. Many thanks to Marti and Rodney for their hospitality.
It was very nice and peaceful, nice view and very peaceful.
Rodney was very helpful and the staff helped to get luggage into the unit. Made sure we had wood, ice and that the TV was working. Will stay there again.
The spa is definitely a winner. I can't really make any exceptions. The food is of excellent quality. And you have the privacy you want. Chalets are clean and of excellent quality! I would definitely recommend Thulani Game Lodge for a romantic weekend or just a quick getaway for you and your loved one. It's not just another lodge, the love and care put into it is palpable! Will definitely go again.
Rodney served us hand and foot and was there anything we needed. Had a delicious breakfast in our room with the most beautiful view Thulani's special gin was also such a great treat.
The owner and his team really went out of their way to make our anniversary weekend special. From our wonderful home. no. 5, to the excellent spa massage, dinner and breakfast and golf cart game drive. Definitely a weekend we will remember and can recommend to experience a delicious forest treat.
Very nice and peaceful!
The view over the woodland with the accompanying privacy of your unit is unbeatable. You hear nothing but the night sounds in the afternoons and evenings. Roney and his team always make sure that you are 100% satisfied and whether you might be missing something. We forgot about the mad rush and COVID. 5-star treatment.
Game drives, spa and dinners are specially arranged around our program.
The facilities meet the 4 star requirements and are truly lovely. Appropriate decor and pleasant spa and game drive. At this price level, more attention can also be paid to the finishing touches, for example double layer toilet paper; and more general kitchen accessories for self-catering (such as cutting board, grater, corkscrew etc.). There are also a few spots that we can point out where general maintenance is needed, such as the shower head that needs to be replaced, the sliding door that is moving off the track, light bulbs that are out in the bathroom, granite countertops in the kitchen that are cracked and the couch whose material is already slightly worn. You are also not allowed to drive through the reserve yourself, and because there is no footpath in the camp area, you are limited to the unit.
Get time to disconnect from the everyday busy life. Quite relaxing, calm.
If you enjoy peace and quiet in nature, this is the place to be. Contact was made weeks in advance and requirements confirmed. We were warmly received by Rodney, the hands-on owner, and his friendly staff. We were greeted by various antelope and giraffe on our way in. Plenty of game around. We were staying in Bush Chalet 8, but all chalets are designed in such a way that you have absolute privacy. Rodney goes out of his way to ensure you are comfortable and has everything you need. He is always that step ahead, calling you before you need to call him. The positive experience is made more personal when you are collected from your unit for any of the value-add services booked. We can recommend the full body massage at the Bush Spa, at the hand of a friendly and professional masseuse. She truly knows how to get you to unwind and relax. Plenty hiking and biking routes, so get as busy as you want. A sunrise hike is a very special experience here. Another very special experience is doing the self-drive Golf Cart game drive at dawn or dusk. The rate is per hour, so you can enjoy to your heart's desire. Highly recommended. Ideal for couples.
They are full of crap about gate times and want money if you want to come in after their time. You don't get WiFi in your room and signal is terribly bad.
I booked the standard African Bush Chalet for one night's stay, as it looked affordable from the photos. I arrived at the farm late in the afternoon because there were complications with my reservation. I was then taken to my room which looked nothing like the pictures. The room had a single bed, small table and 2 chairs in it. A bedside lamp on the table and a fan were also provided. I bought myself a home-baked pizza to pop in the oven, because I didn't feel like cooking. Unfortunately there was no oven in the room, or even a kettle to make coffee. The owner said he could send someone to cook my food and it was just quickly microwaved (not very tasty). It was a very unpleasant experience and not at all what I expected. I won't just go back again.
I wish I knew that the road gets very bad towards the end and my car wasn't very suitable. The host was very casual and the room was great. No WiFi in the room. The place was beautiful but the breakfast was over priced for what you get. They also didn't give back my credit card and 2 hours later when I found out and called they confirmed it was there, no apologies or explanation as to why they didn't give it back or why they didn't contact me. I had to cancel my card as I was too far away to fetch it. The place is very beautiful, the animals amazing and the rooms lovely, but the service was definitely lacking.
For the price, I was very disappointed with this venue. Fixtures are broken, the only light above the mirror in the bathroom didn't work, the tap of the bath didn't work, the towels smell musty and are old and worn. We requested dinner from the lodge and paid over R1000 for the worst quality meat (which we had to braai), stir fry veggies containing mostly onion, and a salad with questionable tomatoes. The cleaning staff walked in on us 2 hours before check out, because they decided to start cleaning up! I would not recommend this place to friend or foes.
Very peaceful environment, we really enjoyed the game drive. Thank you Rodney for all your effort and hospitality.
The lodge is beautiful. The owner and his wife as well as the staff are very friendly and helpful. Also saw many animals. Als was great thanks!
The field and animals were in excellent condition, our unit was well cared for and equipped, the staff were very helpful and well trained, our dinner was delicious! Will definitely go again!
'n Versteekte juweel. Sal beslis weer terugkom.
Usually this type of vacation is not in our budget and we were reluctant to venture into a more luxurious class. Everything was top notch and to complain about anything would be quite simply unfair. Many thanks to Rodney and his team for providing us with an unforgettable weekend. For quality time with your partner, you can't ask for a better potion than a holiday at Thulani lodge.
A good place to relax for a weekend with a stunning view.
It was an amazing weekend. But I found it to be a bit too unorganised and communication to be a bit too on the fly. Like we had to speak about the same plans again and again and after a while it was just too much interaction. Too many people calling us for things and not just letting us be on our own. Not to mention the steep prices for any add-ons like breakfast and wood. It left the feeling like we were being pushed to keep adding on more activities for a nice fat bill at the end of the weekend which was really not a pleasant feeling. I would really recommend a better organised system. With price lists and pre-booking options and time slots before hand for any add on services or activities. So I would warn anyone else about this before booking.
DStv package is Compact so no sports channels, you do not actually go on vacation to watch TV, but sometimes you want to watch certain games.
Our weekend visit at Thulani was amazing. Heaven on earth. The staff were extremely helpful, definitely five star weekend!
Amazing place, comfortable living spaces. We really had a good time. Should have booked for longer.
Rodney is an excellent host, the food is delicious, the accommodation comfortable and very neat. The views are breathtaking and one can really relax in the silence. The spa also offers good value for money. Will definitely go back to Thulani, but this time for much longer.
Thulani Game Lodge is a beautiful gem. I had the most relaxing and memorable time. The owners and staff are friendly and very accommodating.
Absolutely beautiful. Service professional and warm. Will definitely go back.
If you are looking for a romantic getaway (self-catering or all inclusive) Thulani is the place. Their rooms are very well appointed and we even had a private Jacuzzi. Meals can be enjoyed in your room or at the restaurant. There is also a Spa on site. Feel free to contact Rodney to find out more about the game drives. It's worth it.
This is a great place to just breakaway for a week. Very nice facilities, rooms are beautiful and staff so accommodating and friendly with great hospitality. Let's not forget the food, well presented and very tasty.
We were kindly received with excellent service, the units are very nice and smartly laid out and sit on a hill, so there is a very nice view all the time. It's a beautiful farm with lots of beautiful game, so the game drives are a must!
See stars.
Peace and quiet, refreshing and the view is amazing. I really enjoyed myself and I can't wait to go back again. Thanks to Mr Rodney and his staff for a warm welcome.
No complaints, everything was perfect and convenient.
It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Thulani's place, I wish we had more time. Fantastic value for money, excellent customer service. The exclusive game drive was an experience. The food was off the books! Everyone went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
Absolute value for money. Very nice environment and excellent service from management and staff! More like a five star feeling than anything else. Really impressed!
From the time we had arrived to our departure, the service was exceptional. The owner Rodney and his staff made us feel welcome. The food was also good. The resort is well established. Very neat and clean. I must say that you get personal attention at this resort. The view form the spa is amazing. Only friendly and very helpful people at the Thulani Game Lodge. You also get to see wild animals as you drive in and out of the lodge.
This is the best game lodge ever. Everything was just perfect. The owner Mr Rodney is such a kind man. He kept on checking if we are fine. The rooms, the staff and the food was outstanding. Going again soon!
If you want to escape the rat race to go the the bushveld and forget about everything, Thulani Game Lodge is the place. It's a boutique lodge and the personal service and attention are excellent. It's a bonus that it's only 2 hours from Johannesburg/Pretoria. It was our first visit, but we'll definitely become regular visitors to Thulani.
Calm and quiet. Try to make the stay pleasant. Service was good.
The owners really went out of their way to accommodate us! The restaurant's food is amazing!
We stayed in the stilted tent which has a private Jacuzzi and amazing views. We even saw giraffes in the morning while lying in bed. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a quite time out of the city.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and the accommodation is well furnished. I would have liked more amenities in a unit where we chose the self-catering option.
The accommodation itself is good but not worth it if you take into account what you pay for. R150 for breakfast is insane. You are also charged for individual items on your plate. The main itself was the steak for R130, the little potato bake for R50 and the salad for R50. Then they charge you R165 for a bottle of JC Le Roux that costs R74. I understand that there is a markup but not more than 100%. We were also rushed to finish our food. Load-shedding was the excuse but we were told to finish everything and get it later but it was more about finish so that they don't have to do anything else.
40°C with air conditioning plugged into the wall and blowing hot air out. Fans are tiny. Ricoffy is served. Jacuzzis do not have water in them. Shower heads clogged with limescale, outdoor showers are so clogged you can't shower. Shower in bathroom impractical, everything under water when you shower. Linen burned with an iron, and you have to sleep under it. No one at reception, mission to get bags to your room. Absolutely the most horrible place we have stayed at. This is substandard for the price we paid!
From the moment you enter the gate the relaxation just washes over you, the road to the lodge is tidy and well indicated. The chalets are neat and comfortably appointed. The staff is very helpful and the premises is kept tidy at all times. Braai is cleaned before you get up in the morning and you don't even hear them doing it. I definitely recommend this place for a relaxing weekend.
Thulani's owners are very keen on their customers being happy and making full use of the lodge's facilities. They are friendly and very helpful. We could easily just do nothing and just rest.
Wonderful experience. Top-notch accommodation at Thulani Lodge. I was pleasantly surprised by the unique decor in my unit, and the view from my unit was wonderful. Friendly reception, large, comfy bed (very important for an overnight stay!) and good meal. I recommend Thulani to anyone who just needs to get away from everything and experience some peace. The quiet and the sounds of the bush was very soothing. Looking forward to my next visit.
What a privilege to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the bush with friendly people who make you feel welcome and just want to spoil you.
Was a wonderful weekend.
They have a lot to learn about customer service, and how to make the place a better "experience" for new visitors. Even I can give them quite a few ideas that will cost them almost nothing extra, but will add so much value!
Even though this place is situated on a beautiful farm and the chalets are spacious with a nice feeling created by the birds and trees, the tranquil landscapes and beautiful view, our experience wasn't pleasant. The website didn't give much info. Except for the spa no prices are indicated. We didn't know what a breakfast or dinner would cost. When we arrived and asked a unsure answer was provided. You can pour yourself a drink, but there is no price list. Every extra room like the pool room, reading room and even the restaurant is cluttered. Looks as though a lot of furniture have been crammed into a small space, no though for the decor. 4 star grading certificates are everywhere, even plopped on the table. When we finally got dinner, we were constantly interrupted by the manager. She handled the food with her hands when it was re-packed in a container. Other than that the manager was everywhere and wanted to chat with us when we were planning on resting. We were even bothered in our chalet and she came in uninvited. We didn't book any other activities, but were repeatedly asked if we had booked something and, on answering in the negative, she'd respond, "Oh yes, I'm thinking for the honeymoon couple". At times we were addressed as "bokkie" and "liefie" which is unprofessional. We had to leave earlier because of an emergency, at one stage the owner didn't know what the drinks cost, what the dinner prices are and she was even unsure about the code to get out of the gate. Then we found out that dinner is R240 per persoon. That is equivalent to a three course meal's price at any other reasonably sophisticated restaurant. Overall we felt like we had to hide to relax. And it wasn't pleasant. It way be that the lodge was a 4 star lodge once, but we did our research and found that it is hard to believe they still have this grading. We wouldn't recommend Thulani under the current circumstances.
Meals are unnecessarily expensive R285 for a chicken a la king and rice. Menu does not exist, just offer steak and chips or salad R285. On Monday they went through a lot of trouble to get the place neat and clean for the people who came to take pictures of the place. In one of the units there were no braai tongs of serving bowl. No TV in room and in bar/restaurant only one TV. You have to watch what other people are watching or watch DVD's while there was rugby on.
Thank you to Martie for all of her effort. We really enjoyed it. Great service and relaxing area. Highly recommended. Had a relaxing stay in the heart of the bushveld.
Beautiful premises and accommodation unit were spacious, modern and immaculately clean. The fact that nature is untouched in and around the lodge gives one the true forest experience. Despite the drought, the wildlife was in a well-kept condition, reflecting the passion for wildlife conservation of the owners. Overall service was exceptionally great from all the staff. We really enjoyed it.
It was an amazing weekend in the bush. Top-notch hospitality and the service was perfect. We never had to wait for the staff. The stillness of the bush was just perfect and the calls of the birds were beautiful. I really recommend Thulani if you want to relax and enjoy nature. A lot of wildlife too.
They made us feel special when we arrived. Everything was explained and shown. The facilities are fantastic, hospitality better than expected, what an experience! Thanks Martie and the entire team.
The staff go out of their way to accommodate you and make you feel welcome. There is a variety of game and the game drives are wonderful. The accommodation is clean, tidy and we had everything we needed there.
Unit number 4 was incredibly luxurious and beautifully equipped. It was truly one of the best weekends I've had and I had a good rest. The peacefulness and nature is wonderful. I will definitely come back for a return visit.
Friendly staff, comfortable accommodation and rejuvenating atmosphere! Will definitely call again.
Very relaxing. Just expensive if you think of what you'd get at other lodges and the game drive isn't worth it. Thulani is very nice and we enjoyed it.
It's awkward to have to ask for glasses/knives/pots etc all the time. Advertises the unit with a microwave but then there isn't one. Apart from that, we were well taken care of and the place is incredibly beautiful. I know white is impractical in the woods but white bedding will make a big difference in the rooms.
We enjoyed our stay at Thulani Game Lodge & Eco Estate a lot - it was tranquil. We had good service from both parties during our stay. The place isn't really suitable for children, not much to keep them busy with.
We needed a relaxing few days with little outside influence and that's just what we found. There is little to do but relax here...lovely. Tent was very comfortable, view over the plains was fabulous especially during the storm. We self catered so can't comment about food at the restaurant, but I can recommend the place. Personally I would only book the stilted tents though. They were amazing.
Lovely bushveld area with the necessary facilities.
No shortage of treats and luxury. I had a great relaxing stay. Everything was in it's place with excellent service.
Lots of attention to 'detail'. The break was nice and the lodge very nice, but something was missing. It was a very peaceful visit, but needed personality. Stiff atmosphere although the service was great. Don't know if I would return or recommend.
People are treated like children. We paid for the last night, just to get away. My wife surprised me on my birthday. I regret we went from Botswana to South Africa. Service is poor. We were sent away for being early. Made no effort to accommodate us. We had to drive to Thabazimbi for lunch to make up the time because we are not allowed to check in before three o'clock. Rooms are hot and fan did not work and no air conditioning. You may not drive around either. Only with guides. We had to sit in the room and die in the heat. Swimming pool(s) are so dirty, it looks like the animals are bathing in the thing. They just wanted to sell us the restaurant and game drives to see how much money they could still make from people. Very poor and very unprofessional. I don't know who was paid for the 4 star rating, but in my opinion they don't even deserve 2 stars. I will pay not to go. Very bad place!
For sure the most beautiful place I have ever visited. It's absolutely stunning! The service is great and staff are very hospitable. Cute people! Very private and was a nice treat. I would recommend it to every person and can't get enough of it. Thank you so much, it was stunning! My heart is already there with you.
Very nice. Will go back again anytime. We enjoyed it very much. Everyone was very friendly. What an experience.
Wonderful staff, great cycling and all in all wonderful time!
The room was stunning and it was romantic. It's a lovely, beautiful, clean resting place, and very friendly and helpful owners. I would recommend it.
The self-catering unit may contain less than other places I've been. But if you know what to take with you, there's nothing wrong with the experience. We enjoyed it very much!
Dineo's service was the highlight. She was involved in most aspects of our stay (not just the spa). I had a massage at the spa and Dineo was excellent. Our accommodation was one tent and one chalet, we were able to use the kitchen facilities and outdoor area of another chalet during our stay. The kitchen and braai area were cleaned every day. The game drive was at 07:00 in the morning and we were very happy with the game we saw. The view from the tent was exceptional - it will be a main reason for me to go back. The tent had a problem with hot water in the bathroom which was not ideal. There were no pots and pans and we could have planned better if we were aware of this ahead of time. Directions were not very good, we got lost for 40 minutes. Other than that it was a good resting place.
It was an amazing stay, they stayed up late to open for us after a concert. it is very clean and a beautiful house. the only thing I would, however, change are the people in the mornings walking past the house which was a bit noisy on the gravel. But everything else was superb.
