35 guests' feedbackWe had a really nice stay! The cottage is hidden between the mountains with the most beautiful wildlife on the farm. There are nice, rough roads on the farm that can be driven with a 4x4, and with the bikes it's just as fun, but you have to know your story on the bike, the climb is nice and steep. There were also many dirt roads in the area on which one could enjoy cycling. I can definitely recommend this place!
Thank you very much for a wonderful weekend at Tibani Nature Reserve. Everything was perfect - the location, the beautiful view of the mountains and the goats we could see when we went for a walk. Botterboomhuisie is very neat and well furnished - we lacked nothing. Thanks again and we will definitely visit again!
A beautiful spot, you truly feel like you have the whole reserve to yourself. Great value for money and has everything you need. Got to see zebras and springbok off the stoep while having our morning coffee. A great weekend getaway.
Definitely. Will go there again in the future.
It was a lovely few days.
Our stay at Tibani Nature Reserve was absolutely delightful! From the moment we arrived, the host greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Her hospitality and friendliness added an extra special touch to our experience. The views from the reserve were simply breathtaking, offering a stunning backdrop of natural beauty. We enjoyed peaceful moments watching the animals in their natural habitat and going on hikes to explore the area. The host was always available to offer guidance and share her knowledge of the reserve and its wildlife. The Tibani Nature Reserve Facebook page was incredibly informative. We saved screenshots of the animals she had posted about, which helped us identify and spot many of them during our stay. Leaving Tibani Nature Reserve was difficult, as we had such a wonderful time. We are already looking forward to our next visit and can't wait to return to this little piece of paradise. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!
Wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Beautiful scenery and the perfect camp to find rest for the soul.
The accommodation and location was exactly what we were looking for. The pool was a big plus with Friday's 35 degrees and the fireplace inside was a winner with Saturday's thunder and rain. The WiFi was also a winner. Sanet was a pleasant hostess with very complete information before our arrival.
A must for the nature lover! Most beautiful location, very clean and tidy and fully equipped. Highly recommended. Very helpful hostess.
Such a nice stay in the beautiful Montagu area. The cottage has everything you would need and the splash pool on the porch was amazing. If you like silence and beautiful scenery, you will have a great time staying here. Sanet and Pieter are very friendly and they go out of their way to make the stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I will definitely stay with Tibani again.
Wonderful and very scenic.
The accommodation was beautifully located, the flora was quite something to behold, and we felt most privileged to be alone in such a quiet space. The night sky was awesome! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The WiFi was mostly very stable.
It was a very relaxing stay, just what we needed. The tranquility and scenery were amazing.
The house is neat and well furnished. The herd of springbok came to about 50 yards from the house. All that broke the silence was the fun birdsong. Unfortunately we had to learn on arrival that the solar heated plunge pool was out of order and the necessary pipes to repair it would not be available until after our stay. The water in the splash pool was very cold all the time, so we couldn't use it. We also couldn't get the wood fire hot tub hot, even though we followed the verbal and written instructions. However, it still remains a privilege to be able to experience that tranquility and beautiful view.
Very nice stay. Experiencing minimal problems.
Had a wonderful stay. Host is excellent! We'll be back again!
We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility and the beautiful view. The cottage was so cozy and having the little wooden stove inside warmed the place up while it was freezing outside. Sanet went out of her way to make us feel comfortable, and even offered us help with a flat wheel. It was lovely to walk the 4x4 track and the view from the top was stunning. Also enjoyed the blesbok and a few springbok that ventured close to the cottage.
Awesome. Ten out of ten for Sanet.
We enjoyed our stay. We will go back.
Beautiful place to stay. A break away from it all.
It's a beautiful place, just like in the pictures. I would definitely recommend it to all my friends and family and I would definitely book it again.
Sanet, the hostess, is very friendly. We really enjoyed the nature. There is a clean toilet and shower and the small farm pond offers relief if it gets too hot. The WiFi was a surprise. Lots of bird life. The Springboks graze nearby. Mongoose came to visit. There is a basket of small balls that come to hang out on the wooden fence every day. Most beautiful sunsets and stargazing! Just simply heavenly if you like camping without frills (no power there, but that's not essential if you love camping in nature) And it's private! You don't have camp neighbors.
The perfect spot for a night or two away from the hustle and bustle of city life!
We loved the peaceful environment and enjoyed walking in the reserve. The house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children, it would be a bit small for 4 adults.
We had a great time camping at Tibani. Nice warm water and clean ablution. Sanet and Patrick even came to help jump start our car.
Just the roads to the houses are not so good. It's bad driving on them as they make the stay uncomfortable. Seeing the sun with your pool on your front porch is amazing.
Had a great time. Sanet made us feel very welcome.
We were 2 friends who slept there for three nights for our annual motorcycle trip. The seclusion in nature was incredibly nice. The splash pool after a hot day is a pleasure. Definitely go again with our women! Sanet makes an effort for her guests. One of my favorite places!
Beautiful, private house in the mountains, surrounded by so much natural beauty, figs, birds and different kinds of goats. What more could one want?
Tibani is a beautiful place, and the tranquility and natural beauty contributed to a wonderful weekend.
The tiny house stands alone in the Klein-Karoo veld, but has everything one needs, including a delicious wooden stove that warms the whole house. I'm sure in the summer we would have felt the same way about the pool on the porch. We were able to walk and explore the field on our own, something one rarely gets to do. The 4x4 road was beautiful, the narrow path provides enough adrenaline without being too dangerous.
The silence was an experience with great basic facilities.
If diving into nature and getting away from it all is your thing then Tibani is the place for you. Game and birds in abundance. Beautiful hikes. Some negatives are the need for more shade in the afternoons and a more user-friendly shower. Scaldingly hot!
Tibani is a hidden gem. If peace and quite is what you want, then this is the place. All you need is provided and the 4x4 trail is challenging and beautiful.
Tibani is the ideal place if you want to get away from your mobile phone, laptop, TV. Just a nice place to relax. The splash pool is a winner. We had a great time and the service is great.
