4 guests' feedbackTillietudlem Nature Reserve is a hidden and unknown gem! With the deck of our chalet overlooking the river, my family and I enjoyed all that the natural beauty has to offer. The GM Danny and partner went out of their way to make our stay that much special and even taught the kids to flyfish and ride a horse. Hleka Manzi has been a memorable stay as we thoroughly enjoyed the getaway. Abundance of birds, cattle and other animal life left us all enthralled.
Over 35km of terrible gravel road with huge rocks. The roads in the nature reserve are even worse. 4x4 or decent off-road vehicle recommended. This was not mentioned as a prerequisite on the website. There is also no signal connection at all at the furthest accommodation, one has to drive to the next house to get a signal.
The biggest herd of moose I have ever seen, beautiful!
This was everything we expected it to be. Tranquil surroundings with a cosy lodge, warm fire and mist covered mountain to top it off. Worth a visit.
