The place needs some TLC but still good value for money.

It was a great stay, the area is safe and there is no noise considering the fact that it was a family trip. Safety was my top priority and Topanga 26 delivered exactly that.
Close to beach and shops. Very quiet and safe.
They don't care about you they all think about money only.
We showed the lady that the couches' arm rests were dirty and the bedding was dirty.
We were given a long list of rules and unnecessary instructions ahead of time - which we followed very carefully to avoid any problems. When we arrived, their temperature gauge was broken and the TV was not working, after which they wasted an hour of our time with strangers in our place to fix the TV, but were unsuccessful. When it came to check-out, we kept contacting the woman even before check-out time to come get the key, but received no communication until hours later when we were almost back in JHB. Besides the extremely poor communication at check-out time, it only got worse when they started making insinuations that the place smelled of smoke even before they got the key back. The administrative contact very unprofessionally then just said she was not going to communicate any further via email and took my deposit without any evidence of rules being broken. This has been the most horrible experience I have ever had with all my stays and feel they are just looking for any reason to make extra money.
Would definitely stay again out of season.

House rules
- Houses and flats are let strictly on the number of beds available. The number of people in the unit at any time (including children) may not exceed the number booked for.- We do not take bookings for groups of adults.
- No day visitors are allowed or from other units.
- No loud music, noise and parties are allowed at any time of day. Quiet hours are between 20:00 and 08:00.
- The responsible tenant must be 25 years old or older.
- The outstanding balance must be paid during the low season 2 weeks before the check-in date, and during the peak season 1 month before the check-in date by cash, EFT or a bank deposit. The breakage deposit will be refunded on the 7th and 21st day of each month, depending on which date is closest to guests' check-out date.
- No pets allowed.
- Smoking inside the unit is not permitted.
- Cleaning services are only available on weekdays at an extra cost.
- Guests must please leave the unit tidy and the dishes washed before they check out.
