Beautiful setting with very comfortable accommodation.

Beautiful rondawel, loved the fireplace. Milk and coffee provided. The heartiest scrumptious "regte boerekos" dinner! Wonderful sunset walk around the farm and enjoyed the company of the friendly farm dogs. Very comfortable bed.
We overnighted on our way to Mountain Zebra National Park from KZN. Lovely quiet location out of town with everything that we needed to have a good night's rest.

Over the last week we have covered a lot of distance and slept at a different destination each night. Easily the best stay we had.
Overnight stop on a route elsewhere.
After a whole day on the road, the place with its beautiful gardens and silence was a relief. Deliciously grilled and enjoying the beautiful starry sky. Will definitely stop there again. The route from the Garden Route to KZN via the place is recommended.
Very convenient. The only criticism: when we arrived after a long trip, we were unable to reach the host to access the property for half an hour. A buzzer on the gate would have been helpful. The host was very apologetic though.

The accommodation is excellent and it is wonderful to spend the night on a working farm.
What a beautiful place to overnight. We were welcomed by host Megan and taken to our Rondewal we had booked for the night. The photos don't do it justice, very tastefully decorated and has everything you need. We had braaied that evening using the communal braai area, which is just what you need and very clean. The next morning we went for a lovely stroll on the farm joined by your dog and the Labrador who lives on the farm, they had a great time running around and swimming. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely stop over at Tortoni again!

Comfortable beds and very neat and clean. The dogs were very friendly and accompanied us on a trail run. This was a business stay so we left early without breakfast but will definitely stay again on our next trip.

Regrettably our stop was only a night however Tortoni is a destination in itself. Birdwatching and Naude's Neck when next there.
It's our second stay at Tortoni and once again everything was superb. Looking forward to our next trip in that direction.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. Lovely log fire, warm blanket, delicious meal, and comfortable room. Very nice stay. Was Wi-Fi but because location not very good. We were aware of that so we didn't bother. We will definitely stay there again.

After a long day on the road, this turn off from the main road, just outside the town, was what we needed.' A farm treat!

Tired and exhausted we arrive at this peaceful farm that was cool for our soul. We were warmly received with a delicious cold wine in the small fridge. Plate of farmer's food with dinner was as good as could come and breakfast the same. We felt at home from start to finish, and would have liked to stay longer if we could.
We thoroughly enjoyed the one night stay. Comfortable and friendly. Beautiful scenery. We had dinner and breakfast which were excellent.
We arrived at Tortoni in the bitter cold, but our hostess Megan immediately made us feel at home and made sure we had enough firewood to keep the fire going all night. The rondavel is tastefully furnished and we slept wonderfully.
Tortoni is well located and the farm atmosphere is very pleasant and a good place to take nice photos.
